Dalam rangka menanggulangi pandemi COVID-19, Pemerintah Republik
Indonesia sudah berupaya melalui Keputusan Presiden Nomor 50 Tahun 2021
tentang pengadaan vaksin dan pelaksanaan vaksinasi COVID-19. Upaya vaksinasi
Kesehatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin.

ABSTRACT

THE EFFECT OF TIME OF COVID-19 BOOSTER VACCINATION ON
S1RBD IgG ANTIBODY LEVELS IN THE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY OF
HEALTH ANALYST DEPARTMENT, POLTEKKES KEMENKES

BANJARMASIN
Researcher: Muhammad Rizki

In order to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of the
Republic of Indonesia has made efforts through Presidential Decree Number 50 of

2021 concerning the procurement of vaccines and the implementation of COVID-
19 vaccinations. Vaccination efforts are still being carried out to the community,

one of which is the academic community of the Health Analyst Department,
Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin, most of whom have received the COVID-19
vaccine, including booster doses. In a study by Uysal et al. in 2021 they tested for
antibody response 4 weeks after the second vaccine dose and 3 months after the
second vaccine dose. The result was a decrease in the median antibody titer from
92.3 U/ml to 54.0 U/ml. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of
the timing of the COVID-19 booster vaccination on S1RBD IgG antibody levels
in the academic community of Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin. The research
method used was an analytic survey with a cross sectional study design. This
study took samples from 30 academics from the Health Analyst Department,
Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin who had received a booster vaccine. The
sample was divided into 3 groups, namely the group after booster vaccination in
the range of 0–3 months, 3–6 months, and 6–9 months. The average S1RBD IgG
antibody levels in the three groups decreased respectively to 291,589 IU/mL,
247,190 IU/mL, and 176,860 IU/mL. The conclusion of this study is that there is a
significant effect between the timing of the COVID-19 booster vaccination on
S1RBD IgG antibody levels. Future researchers are advised to expand the time
range of the COVID-19 booster vaccination which may result in lower antibody
levels.
