Kalimantan Selatan terdapat banyak industri informal salah satunya pabrik bandsaw. Bandsaw X merupakan salah satu pabrik bandsaw yang ada di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan dengan peningkatan kasus kecelakaan kerja tiap tahunnya, dari 5 kasus (2018) hingga 11 kasus (2020). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi risiko bahaya pada pabrik bandsaw X di Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan.
Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode observasional. Populasi berjumlah 9 pekerja. Data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara kepada pekerja dan observasi terhadap pabrik bandsaw X.
Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa tahapan produksi pada pabrik bandsaw X terdiri dari 4 tahapan dengan risiko bahaya yang ada antara lain: jari tangan terpotong, tangan terjepit kayu, sakit otot, sakit pinggang/punggung, kaki tertimpa kayu, kaki terkena tali roda mesin, bising, debu, mata terkena percikan bunga api dan tergelincir. Pengendalian risiko yang telah dilakukan pihak pabrik yaitu mesin diberi pelindung dan jalur kerja rapi. Pekerja yang menggunakan APD lebih sedikit dibandingkan pekerja yang tidak menggunakan APD.
Disarankan agar pemilik bandsaw sebaiknya menyediakan kotak P3K, APAR dan APD sesuai dengan risiko bahaya pada tiap tahap produksi. Bagi pekerja bandsaw hendaknya membersihkan serbuk sisa produksi disekitar area pemotongan kayu mesin bandsaw, membuat lantai kerja selalu kering khususnya pada jalur penyusunan kayu, tidak membiarkan sisa potongan kayu berserakan di sekitar area kerja dan menggunakan APD yang sesuai dengan risiko bahaya pada tiap tahap produksi.

There are so many informal industries in South Kamlimantan, one of them is bandsaw factory. X Bandsaw is one of the bandsaw factories in Hulu Sungai Selatan District with increases in accident cases every year, from 5 cases (2018) up to 11 cases (2020). The research aimed to identify the hazard risk at the X bandsaw factory in Hulu Sungai Selatan District.
The research was descriptive with the observational method. The population is 9 workers. The primary data were collected by interviewing the workers and observing the X bandsaw factory.
The research describes that the production process at X bandsaw factory consists of 4 stages with hazard risks, such as: fingers cut off, wedged hands in wood, muscle ache, back pain, feet struck down by wood, feet hit by machine wheel strap, noise, dust, eye splashed by fire sparks and slip up. The risk controls that were conducted by the factory are shielding the machine and tidying up the work paths. The workers that using the PPE are less than the workers that are not using the PPE.
It is suggested that the owner of the bandsaw factory to provide first aid kit, fire extinguisher and PPE accordingly to the hazard risks of each production stage. It is also suggested that the bandsaw workers to clean the residual powder of production around the woodcutting bandsaw machine area, keep the work floors always dry, especially the wood arrangement path, not letting the remaining pieces of wood scatter around the work areas, and use the PPE accordingly to the hazard risks of each production stage.
