Ecoenzyme merupakan larutan hasil pengolahan sampah organik dengan
cara fermentasi dari kulit buah atau sayur, gula, dan air dengan perbandingan 3 :
1 : 10 yang didiamkan selama tiga bulan, memiliki sifat antibakteri yang dapat
digunakan sebagai pembersih alami yang ramah lingkungan sehingga mengurangi
pencemaran bahan kimia yang berlebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
perbandingan uji TPC pada jambu air (Syzygium aqueum) sebelum dan sesudah
direndam ecoenzyme. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi ekperimen rancangan yang
digunakan One Group Pretest-Postest dengan variabel bebas konsentrasi
ecoenzyme dan variabel terikat TPC. Terdapat dua perlakuan pada penelitian ini
sebelum dan sesudah perendaman 45 menit dengan konsentrasi 10%, 25%, 50%,
75% dan 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata TPC sebelum
perendaman terdapat 6,8 x 106 cfu/ml pada buah jambu air. Sedangkan rata-rata
TPC sesudah perendaman selama 45 menit konsentrasi 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, dan
100% sebesar 2,9 x 106 cfu/ml; 5,5 x 105 cfu/ml; 1,6 x 105 cfu/ml; 7,8 x 104
cfu/ml; dan 2 x 102 cfu/ml. Dari hasi uji Kruskal-Wallis diperoleh nilai 0,000
dilanjutkan uji Mann-Whitney diperoleh nilai 0,009 pada konsentrasi 10% sampai
dengan 100% disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan TPC pada buah jambu air sebelum
dan sesudah perendaman selama 45 menit menggunakan ecoenzyme. Bagi peneliti
selanjutnya disarankan untuk memvariasikan lebih banyak buah dan lama
perendaman.

Ecoenzyme is a solution made from fruit or vegetable peels, sugar, and
water in a 3:1:10 mixture that has fermented for three months and has antibacterial
properties that can be used as a natural cleaner to minimize chemical pollution.
This study aims to determine the comparison of the TPC test on water guava
(Syzygium aqueum) before and after soaking in ecoenzyme. This type of research
is a quasi-experimental design used by One Group Pretest-Postest with the
independent variable is concentration of ecoenzyme and the TPC as a dependent
variable. There were two treatments in this study before and after 45 minutes of
immersion with concentrations of 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. The results
showed that the average TPC before soaking was 6.8 x 106 cfu/ml in water guava
fruit, while the average TPC after immersion for 45 minutes with a concentration
of 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% was 2.9 x 106 cfu/ml; 5.5 x 105 cfu/ml; 1.6 x
105 cfu/ml; 7.8 x 104 cfu/ml, and 2 x 102 cfu/ml. From the results of the KruskalWallis test, it was obtained a value of 0.000 followed by the Mann-Whitney test, it
was obtained a value of 0.009 at a concentration of 10% to 100%. It was
concluded that there was a difference in TPC in water guava fruit before and after
soaking by ecoenzyme for 45 minutes. It is recommended to vary more fruit and
soaking time, for future research.
