Kualitas air produksi DAMIU akhir-akhir ini ditengarai semakin menurun. Kualitas air minum hasil produksi suatu penyelenggara air minum dipengaruhi oleh berbagai hal, salah satunya yakni higiene sanitasi DAMIU tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil survei pendahuluan, tampaknya syarat higiene sanitasi tidak diterapkan oleh DAMIU yang ada di Kelurahan X Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui higiene sanitasi depot air minum isi ulang di Kelurahan X Kabupaten Pulang Pisau.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dilakukan pada bulan September 2019 – Mei 2020. Populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah 10 DAMIU di Kelurahan X Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara kepada pemilik DAMIU.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan higiene sanitasi pada proses pengolahan air minum terbanyak berkategori baik yaitu ada 8 DAMIU (80%); 2 DAMIU (20%) berkategori kurang. Untuk Higiene penjamah berkategori baik ada 8 DAMIU (80%); 2 DAMIU (20%) berkategori cukup. Untuk Sanitasi bangunan berkategori cukup ada 8 DAMIU (80%); 2 DAMIU (20%) berkategori kurang, dan untuk Instalasi pengolah air minum berkategori baik ada 9 DAMIU (90%); 1 DAMIU (10%) berkategori kurang. Jadi untuk Higiene Sanitasi DAMIU secara keseluruhan pada umumnya sudah berkategori baik yaitu berjumlah 8 DAMIU (80%); dan 2 DAMIU (20%) yang berkategori kurang.
Setiap pengusaha DAMIU diharapkan selalu menerapkan dan melakukan proses pengolahan air minum sesuai dengan ketentuan yang memenuhi syarat higiene dan sanitasi Depot Air Minum, termasuk juga higiene penjamah, sanitasi bangunan serta melakukan pemeriksaan kondisi Intelasi pengolahan air minumnya secara berkala. Sesuai dengan Permenkes RI No.43 Tahun 2014.

These day, the quality of WRD production is decreasing, it might due to many things, one of them is hygiene sanitation of WRD itself. Based on the survey, the requirements were not met for the WRD at X village, Pulang Pisau District. The aim for this research is to know the hygiene sanitation level of the WRD in X Village, Pulang Pisau District.
The research used descriptive method, and was done on September 2019 – May 2020. The population and the sample of the research were 10 WRDs at X village Pulang Pisau District. The data were gained from observation and interview with the WRD owners.
The results show that the hygiene sanitation level is 8 WRDs are in good condition, 2 WRDs that are in bad condition due to the cleaning process, the container is not washed before refilling it. 8 WRDs are in good condition because the owners cover their mouth when sneezing. 8 WRD building are in fair condition (80%) and 2 WRDs are in bad condition. The water installation process that is in good condition are 9 WRDs, and in bad condition is 1 WRD. In terms of general, there are 8 WRDs (80%) good, and 2 WRDs (20%) bad.
The needed effort is to make sure the refilling process is matched with the protocol and also do the checking to the WRD’s system from time to time.
