PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI (APD) PADA PEKERJA INDUSTRI COR LOGAM DI DESA PANGGANDINGAN KECAMATAN DAHA UTARA KABUPATEN HULU SUNGAI SELATAN TAHUN 2020

Proses produksi pada industri cor logam memiliki resiko terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja, seperti terkena percikan logam, paparan suhu panas, dan terhirup debu pembakaran. Penggunaan alat pelindung diri merupakan salah satu upaya untuk melindungi dari adanya potensi bahaya yang dapat menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja.
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan APD pada pekerja industri cor logam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain penelitian observasional. Populasi dan sampel penelitian di industri cor logam berjumlah 55 orang.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan rentang umur pekerja antara 21-56 tahun. Pendidikan terakhir pekerja dari SD, SMP, dan SMA. Masa kerja ≤ 1 tahun 11 orang (20 %) yang bekerja > 1 tahun 44 orang (80%), waktu kerja 8 jam/hari. Pengetahuan pekerja kategori kurang 32 orang (58,2 %), cukup 23 orang (41,8%). Sikap pekerja yang setuju 11 orang (20%), dan tidak setuju 44 orang (80%). Seluruh pekerja tidak menggunakan APD yang sesuai denga potensi bahaya yang ditimbulkan.

THE USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) IN CAST METAL INDUSTRY WORKES IN PANGGANDINGAN VILLAGE DAHA UTARA SUB-DISTRICT, SOUTH HULU SUNGAI REGENCY IN 2020

The production process in the metal cast industry has the risk of occupational accidents and occupational diseases, such as exposure to metal sparks, exposure to hot temperatures, and inhalation of burning dust. The use of personal protective equipment is an effort to protect against potential dangers that can cause occupational accidents and occupational diseases.
The study aims to determine the use of PPE in cast metal industry workers. This research is a descriptive study with observational research design. The population and research sample in the cast metal industry totaled 55 people.
The results of this study indicate the age range of workers between 21-56 years. The last education was workers from elementary, middle, and high school. Work period ≤ 1 year 11 people (20%) who work> 1 year 44 people (80%), work time 8 hours / day. There are 32 knowledge workers in the category (58.2%), 23 are enough (41.8%). The attitude of workers who agree 11 people (20%), and 44 people do not agree (80%). All workers do not use PPE in accordance with the potential danger posed.
