PENGARUH TITER WIDAL TERHADAP JUMLAH NEUTROFIL PADA PASIEN SUSPEK TIFOID
XMLABSTRAK Pengaruh Titer Widal Terhadap Jumlah Neutrofil Pada Pasien Suspek Tifoid Peneliti: Putri Islamiati Nur Hidayah Pembimbing: Tini Elyn Herlina ; Rifqoh

ABSTRACT The Impact of Widal Titer Against Total Neutrophils In Patients Suspected Typhoid Researcher : Putri Islamiati Nur Hidayah Advisor : Tini Elyn Herlina ; Rifqoh
According to the latest WHO estimation data (2018) of typhoid fever cases in the world, there are 11 to 21 million cases and 128,000 to 161,000 deaths related to the incidence of typhoid fever each year. According to Indonesian health profile data (2011), there are 55,098 cases of typhoid fever in major hospitals in Indonesia. In the typhoid disease report of Banjarbaru City Health Office for the period of January to September in 2019, there were 1,298 typhoid fever cases. Typhoid fever occurs due to gastrointestinal infections caused by the bacterium Salmonella sp. In establishing the diagnosis of typhoid fever examination a laboratory examination is performed which includes serological examination, one of the examination is widal test also hematological examination, namely the number of neutrophils with a 5 diff hematology analyzer. This research to do to find out the impact of widal titers in patients suspected typhoid with widal titers 1/80, 1/160, 1/320, and 1/640 of S.typhi O / H and S. paratyphi A, B and C to the number of neutrophils. The type of this research is analytic survey with cross sectional design. The population of the research are patient who suspected typhoid fever at Idaman Kota Banjarbaru Hospital with 30 samples on December 13th-31st 2019 with non probality sampling technique was accidental sampling. From the results of the statistical test of widal titer on the number of neutrophils, there are 56,3% impacts of titer widal against total neutrophils in patients suspected typhoid. With the percentage of patients who experienced a decrease in neutrophil counts of 23.33% and 76.67% did not experience a decrease in neutrophil counts.
