HUBUNGAN FAKTOR PREDISPOSISI TERHADAP PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI PADA PETUGAS LABORATORIUM PUSKESMAS DI WILAYAH KOTA BANJARBARU

Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) merupakan promosi dan pemeliharaan tertinggi tingkat fisik, mental dan kesejahteraan sosial. Tenaga laboratorium mempunyai risiko tinggi terhadap kecelakaan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor predisposisi yang berhubungan dengan penggunaan APD pada petugas kesehatan di laboratorium puskesmas. Metode penelitian survei analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi berjumlah 24 orang dan sampel diambil secara „total sampling‟ sebanyak 24 responden. Hasil penelitian karakteristik responden dilihat dari jenis kelamin laki-laki 3 orang (12,5%), perempuan 21 orang (87,5%). Umur responden >30 tahun 16 orang (66,7%), ≤30 tahun 8 orang (33,3%). Tingkat pendidikan Diploma III 18 orang (75%), Diploma IV/S1 6 orang (25%) dan lama bekerja responden ≤5 tahun 5 orang (20,8%), >30 tahun 19 orang (79,2%). Tingkat pengetahuan baik 8 orang (33,3%), kurang baik 16 orang (66,7%). Sikap 9 orang (37,5%) baik dan 15 orang (62,5%) kurang baik. Perilaku baik 3 orang (12,5%) dan kurang baik 21 orang (87,5%). Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku dengan nilai P > α (0,074>0,05), tidak ada hubungan antara sikap dengan perilaku dengan nilai P > α (1,000>0,05). Bagi petugas laboratorium perlu disediakan APD lengkap serta memberikan penyuluhan maupun pemberian reward dan punishment.

THE CORRELATION FACTOR OF PREDISPOSITION TOWARDS THE USE OF SELF PROTECTION DEVICE ON LABORATORIUM TECHNICIAN IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT CLINIQUE IN KOTA BANJARBARU

Health and Work Safety is a form of promotion, high-level physical maintenance, mental and social welfare. Laboratory technician has the highest risk towards work accident and diseases. This research was aimed to find out predisposition factors that related with the use of self-protection device on medical officer in local government‟s laboratory Clinique. The research methodology was an analytical survey with cross sectional design. The population was 24 people and the sample was taken with total sampling method, which meant those 24 respondents were all used as the sample. The result showed from male sample were 3 people (12,5%), female sample were 21 people (87,5%). Age of respondent > 30 were 16 people (66, 7%), age of ≤30 were 8 people (33,3%). Level of education Diploma III 18 people (75%), Diploma IV/S1 6 people (25%) and how long the respondent been working ≤5 years 5 people (20,8%), >30 years 19 people (79,2%). With level of knowledge was good were 8 people (33,3%), not good was 16 people (66,7%). In attitude 9 people (37,5%) was good and 15 people (62,5%) was not good. With good behavior were 3 people (12,5%) and not good were 21 people (87,5%). There was no correlation between knowledge and behavior with score of > α (0,074>0,05), there was no correlation between attitude and behavior with score of P > α (1,000>0,05) towards self-protection device. For laboratory technicians self-protection device was important to be prepared. Elucidation was necessary and even rewards and punishment.
