Pedikulosis disebabkan oleh Pediculus humanus capitis atau kutu di kulit kepala manusia menyebabkan gatal, iritasi dan infeksi sekunder. Pedikulosis pada anak dapat mengakibatkan gangguan tidur dan konsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan perawatan rambut dengan pedikulosis pada anak RA Muslimat NU Martapura Kabupaten Banjar Tahun 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik observasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling yaitu semua anak perempuan yang berjumlah 56 anak dari populasi 112 anak. Data hasil penelitian didapat dari identifikasi Pediculus humanus capitis dan perawatan rambut dari hasil kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan persentase anak-anak yang terinfestasi pedikulosis sebesar 43%. Perawatan rambut dengan kriteria baik sebesar 50% dan kriteria cukup sebesar 50%. Hasil uji chi square didapatkan hasil ada hubungan perawatan rambut dengan pedikulosis pada anak RA Muslimat NU Martapura Kabupaten Banjar Tahun 2018 dengan nilai p = 0,001 > 0,05. Bagi orang tua anak agar memperhatikan dan menjaga kebersihan, terutama perawatan rambut agar tidak terinfestasi pedikulosis dan bagi peneliti lain agar dapat melakukan penelitian lanjutan pada anak usia dini.

HAIR CARE CORRELATION WITH PEDICULOSIS IN CHILDREN OF RA MUSLIMAT NU MARTAPURA BANJAR REGENCY 2018

Pediculosis caused by Pediculus humanus capitis or lice on the scalp causing itching, irritation and secondary infections. Pediculosis in children can lead lack of sleep and concentration disturbances. This study aims to determine the correlation of hair care with pediculosis in children of RA Muslimat NU Martapura Banjar Regency 2018. This research is analytical observation study with cross sectional approach. Sampling was done by purposive sampling thats all girls, 56 children from 112 children population. The data obtained from the identification of Pediculus humanus capitis and hair care from the results of the questionnaire. The results of this study indicate the percentage of children who are infected with pediculosis is 43%, hair care with good criteria is 50% and enough criteria is 50%. The result of chi square test showed that there was correlation between hair care with pediculosis in children of RA Muslimat NU Martapura Banjar Regency 2018 with p = 0,001> 0,05. For parents to pay attention and maintain hygiene, especially hair care to avoid pediculosis and for other researchers in order to conduct further research in early childhood.
