Bakteri Salmonella sp merupakan bakteri patogen yang dapat menyebabkan penyakit Salmonellosis. Pengobatan penyakit Salmonellosis dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam obat antibakteri, salah satunya mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia L.). Mengkudu dipilih sebagai obat tradisonal karena memiliki kandungan senyawa kimia seperti antrakuinon, L-asperuloside, alizarin dan acubin yang berfungsi sebagai antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya daya hambat dan daya bunuh serta pengaruh konsentrasi air rebusan mengkudu terhadap pertumbuhan Salmonella sp secara in vitro. Penelitian ini bersifat true eksperiment dengan rancangan prettest dan posttest control group design melalui metode dilusi. Hasil penelitian Konsentrasi Hambat Minimal (KHM) menunjukkan tidak adanya kejernihan pada konsentrasi 60 mg/ml, 70 mg/ml, 80 mg/ml, 90 mg/ml dan tampak adanya kejernihan pada konsentrasi 100 mg/ml. Hasil Konsentrasi Bunuh Minimal (KBM) diperoleh jumlah koloni pada konsentrasi 60 mg/ml sebanyak 395 koloni, 70 mg/ml sebanyak 281 koloni, 80 mg/ml sebanyak 187 koloni, 90 mg/ml sebanyak 96 koloni dan 100 mg/ml sebanyak 6 koloni. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan Konsentrasi Hambat Minimal 100 mg/ml dan Konsentrasi Bunuh Minimal tidak terdapat pada semua konsentrasi yang dilakukan, serta ada pengaruh konsentrasi air rebusan mengkudu terhadap pertumbuhan Salmonella sp secara in vitro sebesar 99% dengan uji regresi linier. Disarankan agar dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh air rebusan mengkudu terhadap Salmonella sp dengan menggunakan teknik ekstraksi atau pelarut lain.

Whether a traditional remedy is chosen as having the content of chemical compounds such as antrakuinon, L-asperuloside, alizarin and acubin which serve as antibacterial. This study aims to determine the existence of the power of drag and power to kill as well as the influence of the concentration of water decoction of pace against the growth of Salmonella sp in vitro. This research was true experiment with prettest and posttest control group design through dilution method. The Minimal Inhibitory concentration of research results (KHM) indicates the absence of clarity on a concentration 60 mg/ml, 70 mg/ml, 80 mg/ml, 90 mg/ml the presence of clarity and looks at the concentration of 100 mg/ml Concentration Kill at least. results (KBM) obtained the number of colonies on a concentration 60 mg/ml as much as 395 colony, 70 mg/ml as much as 281 colony, 80 mg/ml as much as 187 colony , 90 mg/ml as much as 96 colonies and 100 mg/ml as 6 colonies. Based on the results of the study summed up the Minimal Inhibitory concentration of 100 mg/ml Concentration and Kill at least there are no at all concentrations is done, and there is the influence of the concentration of water decoction of mengkudu against the growth of Salmonella sp in vitro of 99% with linear regression test. It is recommended that conducted research on influence of water decoction of mengkudu against Salmonella sp by using extraction techniques or other solvents.
