Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil pemeriksaan asam urat adalah lama penyimpanan serum. Penyimpanan serum pada suhu 4-8°C untuk pemeriksaan asam urat stabil selama 7 hari, tetapi tetap memiliki kemungkinan terjadinya penurunan kadar asam urat karena menurunnya kelarutan asam urat dalam lingkungan asam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama penyimpanan serum selama 1 hari, 3 hari, 5 hari, dan 7 hari pada suhu 4 – 8 °C terhadap kadar asam urat metode enzimatik kolorimetrik. Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Hematologi – Kimia Klinik Jurusan Analis Kesehatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin bulan Desember 2018 menggunakan metode penelitian Quasi Eksperiment dengan rancangan Posttest Only with Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian menggunakan serum dari 5 responden yang memiliki kadar asam urat normal dengan 5 (lima) perlakuan dan 25 kali pemeriksaan. Rata-rata hasil penelitian dengan lama penyimpanan serum pada suhu 4 – 8 °C selama 0 hari = 5,48 mg/dL; 1 hari = 5,12 mg/dL; 3 hari = 4,82 mg/dL; 5 hari = 4,42 mg/dL; 7 hari = 4,1 mg/dl. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penurunan kadar asam urat pada tiap perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa uji statistik Repeated ANOVA didapatkan nilai signifikansi P = 0,000 < α (0,05) artinya ada perbedaan yang bermakna pada kelompok perlakuan sampel. Sedangkan hasil uji Regresi Linier didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan nilai R Square sebesar 0,569 atau 56,9% artinya lama penyimpanan serum memberikan pengaruh bermakna terhadap penurunan kadar asam urat sebesar 56,9 %. Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh lama penyimpanan serum terhadap kadar asam urat abnormal dan variasi suhu yang berbeda.

One of the factors that can influence the results of uric acid examination is serum storage time. Storage of serum at 4-8 ° C for uric acid is stable for 7 days, but still has the possibility of a decrease in uric acid levels due to decreased uric acid solubility in an acidic environment. This study aims to determine the effect of serum storage time for 1 day, 3 days, 5 days, and 7 days at 4 - 8 ° C against uric acid levels in colorimetric enzymatic method. The research was conducted at the Hematology Laboratory - Clinical Chemistry Department of Banjarmasin Health Polytechnic Health Department in December 2018 using the Quasi Experiment research method with the design of Posttest Only with Control Group Design. The study sample used serum from 5 respondents who had normal uric acid levels with 5 (five) treatments and 25 examinations. The average results of the study with serum storage time at 4 - 8 ° C for 0 days = 5.48 mg / dL; 1 day = 5.12 mg / dL; 3 days = 4.82 mg / dL; 5 days = 4.42 mg / dL; 7 days = 4.1 mg / dl. The results of this study indicate a decrease in uric acid levels in each treatment. Based on the results of analysis of statistical tests Repeated ANOVA, the significance value of P = 0,000 <α (0.05) means that there is a significant difference in the sample treatment group. While the results of the Regresi Linear test obtained a significance value of 0,000 and the value of R Square of 0,569 or 56,9% means that the length of storage of serum has a significant effect on decreasing uric acid levels by 56,9%. Further researchers are advised to conduct research on the effect of serum storage time on abnormal uric acid levels and different temperature variations.
