DAERAH IDAMAN KOTA BANJARBARU

Kelainan diabetes melitus dapat disebabkan adanya gangguan pembuluh
darah, gangguan persyarafan, dan adanya infeksi penderita diabetes yang kadar
glukosanya tidak terkontrol akan terjadi penurunan pada respon imun. Sehingga
penderita lebih rentan terkena infeksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan
perawatan luka pada pasien DM tipe 2 untuk mencegah terjadinya infeksi.
Studi kasus ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang menggunakan lembar
pengkajian keperawatan dan SOP perawatan luka. Subjek yang digunakan 2
pasien dengan luka diabetikum yang merupakan pasien di RSD Idaman Banjabaru
yang dilakukan selama 1 minggu, per 3 hari sekali selama 15-20 menit.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan luka pada kedua subjek setelah diberikan
perawatan luka mulai membaik didapatkan penerapan perawatan luka pada pasien
DM tipe 2 terbukti efektif untuk membantu mempercepat penyembuhan luka hal
ini dibuktikan dengan berkurangnya skala luka setelah intervensi.
Implementasi perawatan luka dapat mempercepat penyembuhan luka
terhadap pasien DM tipe 2 sehingga diharapkan teknik ini dapat diaplikasikan
pada asuhan keperawatan terutama untuk mengatasi gangguan integritas kulit
yang terjadi pada pasien.

Diabetes mellitus disorders can be caused by blood vessel disorders,
nervous disorders, and infections in diabetes sufferers whose glucose levels are
not controlled, there will be a decrease in the immune response. So sufferers are
more susceptible to infection. This study aims to carry out wound care in type 2
DM patients to prevent infection.
This case study uses a descriptive method using nursing assessment sheets
and wound care SOPs. The subjects used were 2 patients with diabetic wounds
who were patients at RSD Idaman Banjabaru which was carried out for 1 week,
once every 3 days for 15-20 minutes.
The results of the study showed that the wounds in both subjects after
being given wound care began to improve. It was found that the application of
wound care in type 2 DM patients proved effective in helping speed up wound
healing, this was proven by the reduction in the scale of the wounds after the
intervention.
The implementation of wound care can accelerate wound healing in type 2
DM patients so it is hoped that this technique can be applied to nursing care,
especially to overcome skin integrity disorders that occur in patients.
