Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) adalah infeksi virus yang menyerang sistem
kekebalan tubuh dengan menghancurkan CD4. HIV masih menjadi masalah
kesehatan masyarakat dunia yang utama, karena rantai penyebaran virus HIV yang
sulit untuk terdeteksi dan hingga saat ini masih belum ditemukan obat untuk
menyembuhkan virus HIV. Upaya pemerintah daerah dalam melakukan
pencegahan penyebaran HIV adalah mewajibkan calon pengantin memeriksakan
kesehatannya di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan yang salah satunya adalah
pemeriksaan HIV. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran
pemeriksaan HIV pada calon pengantin di tiga Puskesmas Kecamatan Landasan
Ulin. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey deskriptif dengan rancangan
penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah calon pengantin
yang ada di Puskesmas Kecamatan Landasan Ulin pada bulan April-Mei Tahun
2024. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan total sampling, yaitu
diperoleh 30 responden calon pengantin yang ada di tiga Puskesmas Kecamatan
Landasan Ulin. Hasil pemeriksaan Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) terhadap
30 responden dengan metode imunokromatografi didapatkan hasil Non-reaktif
100% dan Reaktif 0%. Dari hasil kuesioner, didapatkan responden calon pengantin
dengan kategori pengetahuan kurang ada 1 orang (3,3%), kategori cukup sebanyak
7 orang (30,0%), dan kategori baik sebanyak 23 orang (66,7%). Kesimpulan
penelitian adalah tidak ditemukan hasil Reaktif HIV pada calon pengantin dan
pengetahuan tentang HIV pada calon pengantin didominasi dengan kategori baik.
Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian dengan menambahkan
kuesioner tentang gaya hidup/perilaku yang merupakan faktor penularan HIV.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a viral infection that attacks the immune
system by destroying CD4 cells. HIV is still a major global public health problem,
because the chain of spread of the HIV virus is difficult to detect and until now
there is still no cure for the HIV virus. The local government's effort to prevent the
spread of HIV is to require prospective brides to have their health checked at health
care facilities, one of which is HIV testing. The purpose of this study was to
determine the description of HIV testing in prospective brides at three Puskesmas
Landasan Ulin District. The type of research used was descriptive survey with cross
sectional research design. The population in this study were prospective brides at
the Landasan Ulin District Health Center in April-May 2024. The research
sampling technique used total sampling, obtained 30 respondents of brides at the
three Puskesmas of Landasan Ulin District. The results of the Human
Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) examination of 30 respondents with the
immunochromatographic method obtained the results of Non-reactive 100% and
Reactive 0%. From the results of the questionnaire, it was found that respondents
of prospective brides with poor knowledge category were 1 person (3.3%),
sufficient category were 7 people (30.0%), and good category were 23 people
(66.7%). The conclusion of the study was that there were no HIV reactive results
in prospective brides and knowledge about HIV in prospective brides was
dominated by the good category. Suggestions for future researchers to conduct
research by adding questionnaires about lifestyle/behavior which is a factor in HIV
transmission.
