GAMBARAN Tinea pedis PADA PETANI DESA PANDAK DAUN
KECAMATAN DAHA UTARA KABUPATEN HULU SUNGAI SELATAN

Tinea pedis adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi jamur
dermatofita yang menyerang kulit pada telapak kaki, jari kaki, dan bagian
samping kaki. Jamur dermatofita yang sering menyebabkan terjadinya Tinea pedis
adalah Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, dan Epidermophyton
floccosum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jamur dermatofita
penyebab infeksi Tinea pedis pada petani Desa Pandak Daun Kecamatan Daha
Utara Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi 125 petani dan
pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumah
35 petani. Spesimen kerokan kulit kaki dilakukan pemeriksaan mikroskopis dan
kultur jamur pada media SDA di Laboratorium Bakteriologi Jurusan Teknologi
Laboratorium Medis Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin. Tingkat pengetahuan dan
personal hygiene diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data
ditampilkan dalam tabel dan secara deskriptif dalam persentase. Hasil didapatkan
20 sampel (57,14%) positif terinfeksi jamur penyebab Tinea pedis yaitu jamur
Trichophyton rubrum sebanyak 12 sampel (34,29%) dan Trichophyton
mentagrophytes sebanyak 8 sampel (22,86%). Personal hygiene pada sampel
positif didapakan sebanyak 7 orang (20,00%) kurang baik dan sebanyak 13 orang
(37,14%) baik. Tingkat pengetahuan didapatkan 8 orang (22,86%) kurang baik 12
orang (34,28%) baik. Kesimpulan didapatkan 20 orang (57,14%) petani positif
terinfeksi Tinea pedis dan 15 orang (42,86%) negatif. Bagi Peneliti selanjutnya
diharapkan dapat melakukan penelitian tentang Onikomikosis pada petani.

Tinea pedis is a disease caused by a dermatophyte fungal infection that
attacks the skin on the soles of the feet, toes, and sides of the feet. Dermatophyte
fungi that often cause Tinea pedis are Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton
mentagrophytes, and Epidermophyton floccosum. This study aims to identify
dermatophyte fungi that cause Tinea pedis infection in farmers of Pandak Daun
Village, Daha Utara Subdistrict, Hulu Sungai Selatan district. This study used a
descriptive method with a cross sectional approach. Population 125 farmers and
sampling using simple random sampling technique with 35 farmers. Specimens of
foot skin scrapings were subjected to microscopic examination and fungal culture
on SDA media in the Bacteriology Laboratory of the Department of Medical
Laboratory Technology of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Banjarmasin. The level of
knowledge and personal hygiene was measured using a questionnaire. Data
analysis is displayed in tables and descriptively in percentages. The results
showed that 20 samples (57.14%) were positively infected with fungi that cause
Tinea pedis, namely Trichophyton rubrum as many as 12 samples (34.29%) and
Trichophyton mentagrophytes as many as 8 samples (22.86%). Personal hygiene
in positive samples was found as many as 7 people (20.00%) were not good and
as many as 13 people (37.14%) were good. The level of knowledge was found to
be 8 people (22.86%) less good 12 people (34.28%) good. In conclusion, 20
people (57.14%) farmers were positively infected with Tinea pedis and 15 people
(42.86%) were negative. Future researchers are expected to conduct research on
Onychomycosis in farmers.
