Puskesmas Martapura 1

Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Martapura 1 pada
tahun 2023 adalah 1 dari 1.158 jumlah persalinan. Upaya untuk mengurangi
Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) yang disebabkan oleh infeksi salah satunya adalah
dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan tentang personal hygiene pada ibu postpartum.
Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan
kemauan ibu postpartum tentang personal hygiene serta memberikan asuhan
keperawatan pada ibu postpartum yang mengalami defisit perawatan diri.
Penelitian ini berupa studi kasus dengan subjek ibu postpartum dengan
diagnosa keperawatan defisit perawatan diri yang dilakukan kunjungan nifas di
Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Martapura 1 dengan metode wawancara, observasi,
pemeriksaan fisik dan dengan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa format
pengkajian asuhan keperawatan maternitas pada ibu postpartum, kuesioner dan
leaflet.
Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan pada 2 klien postpartum ini yaitu
setelah dilakukan implementasi pendidikan kesehatan tentang personal hygiene
yaitu klien mampu memahami tentang personal hygiene serta menunjukkan
perilaku kepatuhan melakukan personal hygiene dengan baik
Pengkajian keperawatan pada kedua klien yaitu klien mengalami defisit
perawatan diri karena 2 faktor yang berbeda. Implementasi keperawatan yang
dilakukan telah dilaksanakan seperti yang diintervensikan. Diharapkan pada
mahasiswa lebih memperhatikan kembali terkait dengan penatalaksanaan
pendidikan kesehatan personal hygiene pada ibu postpartum serta pada tempat
penelitian dapat berfungsi sebagai bahan rujukan atau pedoman untuk menangani
masalah defisit perawatan diri pada ibu postpartum.

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the Martapura Community Health
Center 1 Working Area in 2023 is 1 in 1,158 births. One of the efforts to reduce the
Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) caused by infection is providing health education
about personal hygiene to postpartum mothers. So the aim of this research is to
determine the knowledge and willingness of postpartum mothers regarding personal
hygiene and to provide nursing care to postpartum mothers who experience selfcare deficits.
This research is in the form of a case study with the subject of a postpartum
mother with a nursing diagnosis of self-care deficit who underwent a postpartum
visit in the Martapura 1 Community Health Center Working Area using the methods
of interview, observation, physical examination and with data collection
instruments in the form of an assessment format for maternity nursing care for
postpartum mothers, questionnaires and leaflet.
The results of the research conducted on 2 postpartum clients were that after
implementing health education about personal hygiene, the clients were able to
understand personal hygiene and show compliance behavior in carrying out good
personal hygiene.
The nursing assessment of the two clients was that the client experienced a
self-care deficit due to 2 different factors. The nursing implementation carried out
has been implemented as the intervention. It is hoped that students will pay more
attention to the management of personal hygiene health education for postpartum
mothers and that the research site can function as reference material or guidance for
dealing with the problem of self-care deficits in postpartum mothers.
