Kota Martapura Tahun 2024”

Timbal (Pb) dan karbonmonoksida (CO) merupakan zat toksik yang berbahaya
bagi kesehatan. Seseorang yang kesehariannya sering terpapar oleh timbal dan
karbonmonoksida mempunyai risiko mengalami anemia. Tingginya kadar Pb
dalam darah mampu menghambat proses pembentukan hemoglobin. Timbal dapat
menyebabkan hemolisa eritrosit dan menghambat pembentukan hemoglobin. Hal
ini menyebabkan turunnya masa hidup eritrosit dan meningkatkan kerapuhan
membran eritrosit, sehingga terjadi penurunan jumlah eritrosit. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran jenis anemia berdasarkan indeks eritrosit
dan morfologi eritrosit pada pedagang kelepon di Kota Martapura. Penelitian ini
bersifat survei deskriptif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Metode pemeriksaan
otomatis menggunakan alat Hematology Analyzer pada 27 orang pedagang
kelepon, kemudian dikonfirmasi dengan pemeriksaan SADT untuk melihat
morfologi eritrosit pada sampel subjek penelitian dengan status anemia.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari 27 orang diperoleh sebanyak 16 orang (59%)
tidak mengalami anemia dan 11 orang (41%) mengalami anemia. Kesimpulan
didapatkan jenis anemia mikrositik hipokromik sebanyak 2 orang (7,44%) dan
anemia normositik normokromik sebanyak 9 orang (33,48%). Saran penelitian
selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian terhadap jenis anemia pada pekerjaan lain
yang aktifitas sehari-harinya sering berada di jalan raya dan berpotensi tinggi
terpapar oleh timbal dan karbon monoksida.

“Description of Anemia Types in Kelepon Traders on Jalan Ahmad Yani
Martapura City in 2024”

Lead (Pb) and carbon monoxide (CO) are toxic substances that are dangerous to
health. Someone who is frequently exposed to lead and carbon monoxide on a
daily basis is at risk of developing anemia. High levels of Pb in the blood can
inhibit the process of hemoglobin formation. Lead can cause hemolysis of
erythrocytes and inhibit the formation of hemoglobin. This causes a decrease in
the life span of erythrocytes and increases the fragility of the erythrocyte
membrane, resulting in a decrease in the number of erythrocytes. This study aims
to determine the description of the type of anemia based on the erythrocyte index
and erythrocyte morphology in kelepon traders in Martapura City. This research is
a descriptive survey with a cross sectional design. The automatic examination
method used a Hematology Analyzer tool on 27 kelepon traders, then confirmed
with a SADT examination to see the morphology of erythrocytes in samples of
research subjects with anemia status. Based on the results of research from 27
people, it was found that 16 people (59%) did not have anemia and 11 people
(41%) had anemia. The conclusion was that 2 people (7.44%) had hypochromic
microcytic anemia and 9 people (33.48%) had normochromic normocytic anemia.
Suggestions for further research are to conduct research on types of anemia in
other jobs whose daily activities are often on the road and have a high potential
for exposure to lead and carbon monoxide.
