Masalah yang sering dialami oleh penderita end stage renal disease dengan terapi hemodialisis adalah ketidakpatuhan dalam pembatasan cairan. Ketidakpatuhan pembatasan cairan akan mengakibatkan penumpukan cairan sehingga akan menimbulkan gejala sesak dan bengkak serta kenaikan berat badan pada fase interdialitik. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pembatasan cairan adalah dengan melakukan pengelolaan asupan cairan. Diary book adalah alat pemantau cairan harian pasien yang berisi informasi terkait penyakit gagal ginjal kronik, diet yang dianjurkan, dan jumlah intake cairan dan output cairan harian pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian diary book terhadap tingkat kepatuhan pembatasan cairan pada pasien end stage renal disease dengan terapi hemodialisis di RSD Idaman Kota Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah time series. Teknik sampling yang digunakan non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 14 responden. Hasil pengukuran menggunakan uji analisis Wilcoxon didapatkan hasil P-value 0.004, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan signifikan tingkat kepatuhan pembatasan cairan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan diary book. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh diary book terhadap tingkat kepatuhan pembatasan cairan pada pasien end stage renal disease. Penggunaan diary book dapat direkomendasikan sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan self management pasien agar kepatuhan pembatasan cairan pasien meningkat.

The problem often experienced by sufferers of end stage renal disease with hemodialysis therapy is non-compliance with fluid restrictions. Failure to comply with fluid restrictions will result in fluid buildup, which will cause symptoms of tightness and swelling as well as weight gain in the interdialytic phase. One effort to increase compliance with fluid restrictions is by managing fluid intake. A diary book is a patient's daily fluid monitoring tool that contains information related to chronic kidney failure, the recommended diet, and the patient's daily fluid intake and fluid output. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of providing a diary book on the level of compliance with fluid restrictions in end stage renal disease patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy at RSD Idaman, Banjarbaru City. This research is quantitative research with quasi experimental methods and the research design used is a time series. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, namely purposive sampling with a sample size of 14 respondents. The results of measurements using the Wilcoxon analysis test showed a P-value of 0.004, which means there was a significant difference in the level of compliance with fluid restrictions before and after being given a diary book. The conclusion from this study is that the diary book influences the level of compliance with fluid restrictions in end stage renal disease patients. The use of a diary book can be recommended as a way to improve patient self-management so that patient compliance with fluid restrictions increases.
