ABSTRAK
Pada ibu hamil, perubahan imunitas mengakibatkan penurunan jumlah limfosit
sehingga meningkatkan kerentanan ibu hamil terhadap infeksi virus selama
kehamilan. Perubahan fisiologis mengakibatkan peningkatan kadar D-dimer seiring
peningkatan usia kehamilan.
Doris Sylvanus
periode Januari Tahun 2022 sampai Agustus Tahun 2023.

Accompanied by COVID-19 at RSUD dr. Doris Sylvanus

ABSTRACT
In pregnant women, changes in immunity result in decreased lymphocyte counts,
increasing the susceptibility of pregnant women to viral infections during
pregnancy. Physiological changes result in increased D-dimer levels as gestational
age increases. D-dimer is the end product of degeneration of cross-linked fibrin by
the action of plasmin in the fibrinolytic system used to detect thrombosis. A number
of COVID-19 patients have coagulation dysfunction and D-dimer is substantially
elevated. Therefore, pregnant women with COVID19 have a greater risk factor for
an increase in D-dimer. This study aims to determine the difference in D-dimer
levels in pregnant women without and with COVID -19 at RSUD dr. Doris
Sylvanus for the period January 2022 to August 2023. This study used an analytic
survey method with a comparative case study design and the sampling technique
used total sampling. The subjects of this study were 19 third trimester pregnant
women with negative COVID-19 virus antigen rapid test results and 19 pregnant
women with positive COVID-19 virus antigen rapid test and RT-PCR test results.
Data analysis using a computer program with the Independent T Test, the test
results showed Sig. (2-tailed) 0.043 (<0.05) means that statistically the average D-
dimer level in pregnant women women without and with COVID-19 has a
significant difference. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference
in d-dimer levels between pregnant women without and with COVID-19 at Doris
Sylvanus Hospital. In the future, further research should be carried out related to
D-dimer levels in pregnant women without or with complications.
