Blood Roller Mixer. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan
rancangan komparatif. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Analis Kesehatan
Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya sebanyak 32 mahasiswi.
sampel metode blood roller-mixer.
didapatkan nilai P < α (0.000 < 0.005). Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat
melakukan penelitian menggunakan parameter trombosit dengan homogenisasi
manual dan Blood Roller Mixer.

ABSTRACT
Laboratory tests, especially routine blood tests, are blood tests that are often requested
by doctors to detect abnormalities in blood cells. Homogenization of blood samples
and anticoagulants that are not homogenized evenly can affect the results of the
examination. There are 2 techniques commonly used when homogenizing blood
samples, namely the manual homogenization technique and the Blood Roller Mixer.
The aim of the research was to determine the comparison of the number of
erythrocytes in venous blood samples that were homogenized manually and using a
Blood Roller Mixer. The type of research used is an experiment with a comparative
plan. The research population was 32 Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya Health Analyst
students. The research sample consisted of 64 venous blood samples, namely 32
samples using the manual homogenization method and 32 samples using the blood
roller-mixer method. The results of the erythrocyte count examination were 18
(56.25%) had normal erythrocyte counts with normal values (3.8-5.0 million/mm3)
and 14 female students (43.75%) had abnormal erythrocytes and 32 samples were
examined by homogenization blood roller mixer found that 18 female students
(56.25%) had normal erythrocyte counts and 14 female students (43.75%) had
abnormal numbers. The statistical test results showed differences in the results of
manually counting the number of erythrocytes and the blood roller mixer, with a P
value < α (0.000 < 0.005). Suggestions for future researchers could be to carry out
research using platelet parameters with manual homogenization and a Blood Roller
Mixer.
