ABSTRAK

HUBUNGAN KOLESTEROL DAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA
WANITA USIA PRODUKTIF DI POSBINDU WILAYAH KERJA

Kolesterol merupakan masalah kompleks dalam tubuh manusia. Penyempitan
serta berkurangnya elastisitas dinding pembuluh darah diakibatkan karena
penumpukan kolesterol pada pembuluh yang dapat menyebabkan tekanan
darah meningkat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan
kolesterol dan tekanan darah pada wanita usia produktif di Posbindu wilayah
kerja Puskesmas Teluk Dalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Survey
Analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah
seluruh wanita usia produktif di 2 Posbindu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Teluk
Dalam, yang berjumlah 143 orang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan
teknik accidental sampling sebanyak 52 responden. Hasil penelitian
didapatkan kadar kolesterol berkisar antara 112 mg/dl sampai 304 mg/dl, 24
responden (46%) mempunyai kadar kolesterol diatas rerata dan 28 responden
(54%) dibawah rerata, dengan nilai rerata 203,96 mg/dl. Tekanan darah
berkisar antara 100/70 mmHg sampai 180/100 mmHg, 28 responden (54%)
dengan tekanan darah diatas rerata dan 24 responden (46%) dibawah rerata,
dengan rerata tekanan darah 128/85 mmHg. Dari uji dengan korelasi Rank
Spearman’s didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05 adanya hubungan yang
bermakna antara kadar kolesterol dan tekanan darah pada wanita usia
produktif di Posbindu Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Teluk Dalam. Untuk peneliti
selanjutnya agar menambahkan pemeriksaan profil lipid secara keseluruhan
yaitu Kolesterol, Trigliserida, High Density Lipoprotein dan Low Density
Lipoprotein.

Relationship between Cholesterol and Blood Pressure in Reproductive-Age

Women at Posbindu, Teluk Dalam Health Center

Cholesterol is a complex problem in the human body. Narrowing and decreased
elasticity of the blood vessel wall are caused by cholesterol accumulation in the
vessel, which can lead to increased blood pressure. The purpose of this study was
to determine the relationship between cholesterol and blood pressure in
reproductive-age women at Posbindu, Teluk Dalam Health Center. This study used
an Analytical Survey method with a cross-sectional design. The population of this
study was all reproductive-age women in 2 Posbindu in the working area of Teluk
Dalam Health Center, totaling 143 people. The sample was taken using accidental
sampling technique with 52 respondents. The results of the study found that
cholesterol levels ranged from 112 mg/dl to 304 mg/dl, 24 respondents (46%) had
cholesterol levels above average and 28 respondents (54%) below average, with an
average value of 203.96 mg/dl. Blood pressure ranged from 100/70 mmHg to
180/100 mmHg, 28 respondents (54%) with blood pressure above average and 24
respondents (46%) below average, with an average blood pressure of 128/85
mmHg. From the test with Spearman's Rank correlation, a significant value of 0.000
< 0.05 was obtained, indicating a significant relationship between cholesterol levels
and blood pressure in reproductive-age women at Posbindu, Teluk Dalam Health
Center. For future researchers, it is advisable to add a comprehensive lipid profile
examination, namely Cholesterol, Triglycerides, High Density Lipoprotein, and
Low Density Lipoprotein.
