Pemeriksaan laju endap darah (LED) merupakan pemeriksaan yang
mengukur kecepatan pengendapan eritrosit, menggambarkan komposisi plasma,
dan mengukur perbandingan antara eritrosit dan plasma. Antikoagulan yang
umumnya digunakan pada pemeriksaan LED adalah Natrium Sitrat. Menurut
International Commitee for Standardization in Hematology (ICSH) konsentrasi
antikoagulan Natrium Sitrat dapat digunakan 2,9-3,9%. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk mengetahui perbedaan nilai LED metode westergren dengan menggunakan
Na. Sitrat 3,2%, Na. Sitrat 3,8 %, dan Na. Sitrat 4,4%. Jenis penelitian ini adalah
eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian komparatif. Populasi dalam
penelitian ini berjumlah 27 sampel. Nilai LED menggunakan Na. Sitrat 3,2%
didapatkan rata-rata 18 mm/jam dengan nilai LED berkisar 4-60 mm/jam, Na.
Sitrat 3,8% didapatkan rata-rata 18 mm/jam dengan nilai LED berkisar 3-62
mm/jam, Na. Sitrat 4,4% didapatkan rata-rata 19 mm/jam dengan nilai LED
berkisar 5-60 mm/jam. Hasil statistik uji Wilcoxon nilai LED Na. Sitrat 3,2% -
Na. Sitrat 3,8% didapatkan nilai sig 0.674, nilai LED Na. Sitrat 3,8% - Na. Sitrat
4,4% didapatkan nilai sig 0.022, nilai LED Na. Sitrat 3,2% - Na. Sitrat 4,4%
didapatkan nilai sig 0.031. Hasil yang ditemukan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang
bermakna antara nilai LED Na. Sitrat 3,2% dan Na. Sitrat 3,8%, sedangkan
terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna Na. Sitrat 3,8% - Na. Sitrat 4,4% dan nilai
LED Na. Sitrat 3,2% - Na. Sitrat 4,4%. Saran untuk penelitian lebih lanjut tentang
pengaruh Natrium Sitrat 3,2%, 3,8%, dan 4,4% pada morfologi dan ukuran
eritrosit terhadap nilai LED.

Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) examination is an examination that
measures the sedimentation rate of erythrocytes, describes the composition of
plasma, and measures the ratio between erythrocytes and plasma. The
anticoagulant generally used in ESR examinations is sodium citrate. According
toInternational Commitee for Standardization in Hematology (ICSH)
concentration of the anticoagulant Sodium Citrate can be used at 2.9-3.9%. This
study aims to determine the difference in LED values using the Westergren
method using Na. Citrate 3.2%, Na. Citrate 3.8%, and Na. Citrate 4.4%. This type
of research is a quasi-experiment with a comparative research design. The
population in this study consisted of 27 samples. LED values use Na. Citrate 3.2%
obtained an average of 18 mm/hour with ESR values ranging from 4-60 mm/hour,
Na. Citrate 3.8% obtained an average of 18 mm/hour with ESR values ranging
from 3-62 mm/hour, Na. Citrate 4.4% obtained an average of 19 mm/hour with
LED values ranging from 5-60 mm/hour. Statistical results of the Wilcoxon test
for Na LED values. Citrate 3.2% - Na. Citrate 3.8% obtained a sig value of 0.674,
the LED value of Na. Citrate 3.8% - Na. Citrate 4.4% obtained a sig value of
0.022, the LED value of Na. Citrate 3.2% - Na. Citrate 4.4% obtained a sig value
of 0.031. The results found that there was no significant difference between the
Na LED values. Citrate 3.2% and Na. Citrate was 3.8%, while there was a
significant difference in Na. Citrate 3.8% - Na. Citrate 4.4% and LED value Na.
Citrate 3.2% - Na. Citrate 4.4%. Suggestions for further research on the effect of
3.2%, 3.8% and 4.4% Sodium Citrate on erythrocyte morphology and size on ESR
values.
