60%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol konsentrasi 30%
memiliki kadar sebesar 0,993 mg/mL, konsentrasi 40% sebesar 1,012 mg/mL,
50% sebesar 1,015 mg/mL, dan 60% sebesar 1,034 mg/mL. Berdasarkan uji
Kruskal Wallis didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,935 (p>α) α=0,05, sehingga
H0 diterima.

Moringa leaves contain high levels of polyphenols and antioxidants such as
flavonoids, alkaloids, triterpenoids, saponins and tannins. Tannins are known to
be active compounds of secondary metabolites which have several properties,
namely as antioxidants, antidiarrheals, astringents, and antibacterials. This study
aims to determine the ratio of tannin level of Moringa leaf extract using various
concentrations of ethanol solvent. The type of research used was an analytical
survey, with a comparative research design, namely comparing the tannin levels
of Moringa leaf extract using various concentrations of ethanol solvents, namely
30%, 40%, 50%, and 60% with the UV-Vis spectrophotometric examination
method. The research sample was Moringa leaf extract which was carried out by
maceration extraction technique using ethanol solvent concentrations of 30%,
40%, 50% and 60%. The results showed that the concentration of 30% ethanol
extract was 0,993 mg/mL, 40% concentration was 1,012 mg/mL, 50% was 1,015
mg/mL, and 60% was 1,034 mg/mL. Based on the Kruskal Wallis test, a
significance value of 0,935 (p>α) α = 0,05 was obtained, so that H0 was accepted.
The conclusion of the study was that there was no significant difference in the
tannin level of Moringa leaf extract using various concentrations of ethanol
solvent. Suggestions for future researchers are to use different samples, extraction
methods, concentration variations, and solvents.
