Sarang burung walet di Kelurahan Sungai Tiung berjumlah 15 buah yang menjadi sumber bising, dapat menimbulkan peningkatan kebisingan dilingkungan sekitar. Kebisingan adalah bunyi yang tidak diinginkan dari usaha atau kegiatan dalam tingkat dan waktu tertentu yang dapat menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan manusia dan kenyamanan lingkungan. Kebisingan adalah bunyi yang tidak diinginkan dari usaha atau kegiatan dalam tingkat dan waktu tertentu yang dapat menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan manusia dan kenyamanan lingkungan.
Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan rancangan metode observasional. Jumlah titik sampel ada 4 titik sampel. Variabel penelitian ini ada 5 yaitu, kontruksi bangunan sarang burung walet, jarak sarang burung walet ke permukiman, intensitas kebisingan, arah angin, dan keluhan subyektif masyarakat. Pengukuran intensitas kebisingan menggunakan alat sound level meter, sedangkan arah angin kompas.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengukuran kebisingan sarang burung walet di Kelurahan Sungai Tiung, titik tertinggi yang melebihi baku mutu pada kawasan permukiman (55 dB) yaitu pada titik 1 sebesar 58,2 dBA, titik 2 sebesar 57,7 dBA dan di titik 3 sebesar 56,7 dBA dan di titik 4 sebesar 54 dBA maka untuk itu ada 3 titik yang termasuk tidak memenuhi Baku Mutu KepMenLH No. 48 Tahun 1996 dikawasan Permukiman (55 dB).
Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meminimalkan kebisingan yang ditimbulkan oleh sarang burung walet adalah rumah yang berdekatan dengan bangunan sarang burung walet harus memasang gorden pada jendela rumah, perbaikan ventilasi.

There are 15 swallow nests in Sungai Tiung Village which are a source of noise, which can cause an increase in noise in the surrounding environment. Noise is unwanted sound from a business or activity at a certain level and time which can cause disturbance to human health and environmental comfort. The design of this research is descriptive method design observational. The number of sample points is 4 sample points. There are 5 variables in this study, namely, the construction of the swallow's nest building, the distance of the swallow's nest to the settlement, noise intensity, wind direction, and subyective complaints of the community. Measurement of noise intensity using a sound level meter, while the wind direction is a compass.
The results showed that the measurement of swallow nest noise in Sungai Tiung Village, the highest point that exceeded the quality standard in residential areas (55 dB) was at point 1 of 58.2 dBA, point 2 of 57.7 dBA then at point 3 of 56.7 dBA and at point 4 of 54 dBA, for that there are 3 points that do not meet the Quality Standards of the Minister of Environment Decree No. 48 of 1996 in the Settlement area (55 dB).
Efforts that can be made to minimize the noise generated by the swiftlet's nest are houses adjacent to the swiftlet's nest building must install curtains on the windows of the house, improve ventilation.
