Salah satu sarana penyediaan air bersih adalah sumur gali. Desa Tambangan adalah salah satu desa di wilayah kecamatan Astambul yang kebanyakan masyarakatnya masih menggunakan air sumur gali sebagai sarana air bersih, jumlah sumur gali berjumlah 38 buah. Di wilayah kecamatan Astambul, pada tahun 2020 Diare merupakan penyakit peringkat ke-4. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui Gambaran Konstruksi dan Kualitas Air Sumur Gali di Desa Tambangan Kecamatan Astambul. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan dengan desain observasional. Populasi berjumlah 38 sumur gali dan sampel untuk penilaian tingkat risiko semua populasi yaitu berjumlah 38 buah sumur gali, sedangkan sampel untuk pemeriksaan kualitas air berjumlah 10 sampel. Hasil inspeksi sanitasi sumur gali terhadap 38 sumur yaitu sumur dengan tingkat risiko amat tinggi 13,15%, risiko tinggi 60,53%, risiko sedang 26,32%, dan risiko rendah 0%. Hasil pemeriksaan kualitas bakteriologis (total coliform) air sumur gali pada 10 sumur didapatkan hasil >979 cfu/100 ml (tidak memenuhi persyaratan atau melampaui kadar maksimum (50 cfu/100 ml). Hasil pemeriksaan dibandingkan dengan Permenkes no 32 Tahun 2017 Disarankan agar masyarakat melakukan perbaikan sarana air sumur gali serta melakukan pengolahan air sebelum dipergunakan untuk keperluan rumah tangga atau dikonsumsi

One the facilities for providing clean water is dug wells. Tambangan Village is onw of the villages in the Astambul sub-district where most of the people still use dug well water as a means of clean water, with a total of 38 wells dug. In the Astambul Sub-disrict, in 2020, diarrhea is the 4th. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of construction and water quality of dug wells in Tambangan Village, Astambul Sub-disrict. The research is descriptive and with an observational design. The population is 38 dug wells and the sample for assessing the risk level of all population is 38 dug wells, while the sample for water quality inspection is 10 samples. The results of the sanitary inspection of dug wells on 38 wells are wells with a very high risk level of 13.15%, a high risk of 60.53%, a medium ridk of 26.32% and no low risk. The results of the bacteriological quality inspection (total coliform) of dug well water in 10 wells were found to be >979 cfu/100ml not meeting the requirements or exceeding the maximum level (50 cfu/100ml). The results were compared with Permenkes No.32 of 2017. It is recommended that the community repair dug well water facilities and treat water before it is used for household purposes or consumed.
