Rumah sakit memiliki dampak positif berupa produk pelayanan
kesehatan perorangan secara paripurna, pada sisi lain keberadaan rumah sakit
dapat menimbulkan infeksi nosokomial. Untuk mencegah infeksi nosokomial
salah satunya melakukan manajemen pengelolaan linen. RSUD Pulang Pisau
mencuci linen infeksius dan non infeksius pada ruangan yang sama, sehingga
dalam hal ini berpotensi menjadi kontaminasi akibat dari linen infeksius.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengelolaan linen di RSUD
Pulang Pisau Tahun 2022.
Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif
yaitu menggambarkan pengelolaan linen. Desain penelitian bersifat observasional
dengan metode pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Populasi yaitu
seluruh aktivitas pengelolaan linen. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah secara
deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada pengumpulan linen termasuk
kategori baik (62,8%), pengangkutan linen termasuk baik (57,1%), pencucian
linen termasuk baik (54%), pengeringan linen termasuk baik (55,3%),
penyimpanan termasuk sangat baik (80,9%), distribusi linen termasuk sangat baik
(100%), peralatan dalam mengelola linen termasuk sangat baik (90%), dan
tindakan petugas dalam mengelola linen termasuk baik (43,5%). Berdasarkan
hasil pengamatan Pengelolaan Linen di RSUD Pulang Pisau termasuk dalam
kategori baik dengan nilai sanitasi 66,6%.
Diharapkan pengelolaan linen Laundry dilengkapi dengan sarana dan
prasarana seperti kantong plastik yang berbeda warna, menyediakan mesin jahit
untuk ruangan Laundry, dan menyediakan kran air panas untuk bahan disinfeksi.
Demikian juga petugas pengelola Laundry selalu menggunakan APD yang telah
disediakan pada saat bekerja dan pada saat pengangkutan linen kotor hendaknya
troli selalu dibersihkan setelah digunakan.

Hospitals have a positive impact in the form of complete individual
health service products, on the other hand the existence of hospitals can cause
nosocomial infections. One of the ways to prevent nosocomial infections is to
carry out linen management. RSUD Pulang Pisau washes infectious and noninfectious linen in the same room, so in this case it has the potential to become
contaminated due to infectious linen. This study aims to determine the description
of linen management in Pulang Pisau Hospital in 2022.
The research is a descriptive research that describes the management
of linen. The research design is observational with observation and interview data
collection methods. Population is all linen management activities. Data analysis is
done descriptively.
The results showed that the collection of linen was included in the
good category (62.8%), linen transportation was good (57.1%), linen washing was
good (54%), linen drying was good (55.3%), storage was very good (80.9%),
linen distribution is very good (100%), equipment in managing linen is very good
(90%), and the actions of officers in managing linen are good (43.5%). Based on
the results of observations of Linen Management at Pulang Pisau Hospital, it is
included in the good category with a sanitation value of 66.6%.
It is expected that the management of Laundry linen is equipped with
facilities and infrastructure such as plastic bags of different colors, providing
sewing machines for the Laundry room, and providing hot water faucets for
disinfection materials. Likewise, the laundry management officer always uses the
PPE that has been provided at work and when transporting dirty linen, the trolley
should always be cleaned after use.
