LITERATURE REVIEW PENGARUH TERAPI HIPOTERMI TERHADAP TEKANAN INTRAKRANIAL PADA PASIEN CEDERA OTAK TRAUMATIK
(Endang Sri P.N, Agus Rachmadi)
xviii + 52 halaman ; 7 tabel ; 2 lampiran

Randomized control and trial menjadi study design terpilih.
Pada lima jurnal terpilih terapi hipotermi menjadi intervensi pendamping, fase induksi terapi hipotermi dilakukan sesaat setelah terjadi COT sampai 10 hari setelah onset.

LITERATURE REVIEW THE EFFECT OF HYPOTHERMIC THERAPY ON INTRACRANIAL PRESSURE IN TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY PATIENTS
(Endang Sri P.N, Agus Rachmadi)
xviii + 52 pages ; 7 tabels ; 2 attachments

The increased intracranial pressure (ICP) caused by TBI causes permanent brain cell damage and lesions. Previous studies have said hypothermic therapy can reduce ICP to some extent. The purpose of making this study to determine the effect of Hypothermic Therapy on Intracranial Pressure in Traumatic Brain Injury Patients.
The research design uses a literature review method with the PICOS framework as search strategy. Secondary source databases are from the Ebsco, Pubmed, and Cochrane Library. Randomized control and trials were the selected study designs. The feasibility test was carried out with The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Critical Appraisal tool, then analyzed using the PICOT table.
In the five selected journals hypothermic therapy became a companion intervention, the induction phase of hypothermic therapy was carried out shortly after TBI occurred until 10 days after onset. Hypothermic therapy has an effect on decreasing ICP if given in accordance with the patient's situation and condition. It is necessary to do further research on the guidelines for giving hypothermic therapy.
