Industri Crumb rubber di Banjarmasin merupakan salah satu perusahaan swasta nasional di Kalimantan Selatan yang bergerak dibidang prossesor dan ekspor karet. Industri karet memberikan dampak positif dan dampak negatif seperti kebisingan yang ditimbulkan dari proses produksi, sehingga menjadi paparan kebisingan bagi tenaga kerja. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui paparan kebisingan pada tenaga kerja di ruang produksi crumb rubber di Banjarmasin.
Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, yaitu menggambarkan kondisi kebisingan yang diterima tenaga kerja. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 67 sampel tenaga kerja di ruang produksi. Pengukuran kebisingan menggunakan alat sound level meter untuk mendapatkan paparan kebisingan pada tenaga kerja di shift 1 serta sebagai data tambahan dilakukan wawancara dan observasi lapangan di tempat tenaga kerja bekerja.
Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, paparan kebisingan di ruang produksi melebihi nilai ambang batas di 40 titik tenaga kerja, sedangkan 27 titik tenaga kerja lainnya tidak melebihi nilai ambang batas. Nilai ambang batas kebisingan untuk 8 jam kerja per hari adalah sebesar 85 dBA sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan RI Nomor 70 Tahun 2016. Pengukuran paparan kebisingan yang melebihi nilai ambang batas yaitu di unit breaker hingga dryer yang berkisar antara 89,4 dBA sampai 96,2 dBA. Hasil wawancara keluhan subjektif yang dirasakan tenaga kerja berupa gangguan komunikasi (100%), gangguan fisiologis (0%), gangguan psikologis (0%) dan gangguan pekerjaan (0%).
Upaya pengendalian paparan kebisingan dapat dilakukan secara engineering, administratif dan penerapan alat pelindung diri. Pengendalian keluhan subjektif yang dapat diterapkan yaitu penggunaan alat pelindung telinga dan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara rutin setiap 6 bulan sekali.

The Crumb rubber industry in Banjarmasin is one of the national private companies in South Kalimantan which is engaged in the processing and export of rubber. The rubber industry has both positive and negative impacts such as noise generated from the production process, so that it becomes noise exposure for workers. This study aims to determine the noise exposure of workers in the crumb rubber production room in Banjarmasin.
This research is descriptive, which describes the noise conditions received by the workforce. The research sample consisted of 67 samples of workers in the production room. Noise measurement uses a sound level meter to get exposure to noise in workers in shift 1 and as additional data, interviews and field observations are carried out in the workforce's workplace.
Based on the measurement results, noise exposure in the production room exceeds the threshold value at 40 labor points, while the other 27 labor points do not exceed the threshold value. The noise threshold value for 8 hours of work per day is 85 dBA in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 70 of 2016. Measurement of noise exposure that exceeds the threshold value is in the breaker to dryer unit which ranges from 89,4 dBA to 96,2 dBA. The results of the interview were subjective complaints that were felt by workers in the form of communication problems (100%), physiological disorders (0%), psychological disorders (0%) and work disorders (0%).
Efforts to control noise exposure can be carried out by engineering, administrative and application of personal protective equipment, such as maintaining production machines and making work regulations. The control of subjective complaints that can be applied is the use of ear protection devices and routine health checks every 6 months or even once a year.
