DAN MODIFIKASI PERASAN AIR LEMON (Citrus Limon)

Leukosit merupakan salah satu sel yang memiliki peranan utama
terhadap sistem pertahanan tubuh atau sistem imun karena dapat
melawan bakteri atau mikroba yang menyebabkan infeksi, sel tumor serta
zat asing yang membahayakan tubuh manusia. Hitung jumlah leukosit
dapat dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu dengan cara manual dengan
menggunakan kamar hitung (improved neubauer) dan cara automatic
menggunakan hematology analyzer. Di laboratorium puskesmas
seringkali ketersediaan barang amprahan datang dalam jangka waktu
yang lama atau reagen tersedia di laboratorium tetapi sudah kadaluarsa
sehingga ketersediaan reagen larutan Turk habis atau jarang tersedia.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat ada atau tidaknya perbedaan
menggunakan air perasan jeruk lemon (citrus limon) dengan larutan turk
sehingga nantinya dapat digunakan untuk reagen alternative pengganti
komposisi larutan turk. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Survey Analitik dengan
rancangan penelitian Observasi Laboratorium. Sampel yang digunakan
adalah darah kontrol normal rentang nilai leukosit yaitu 7,6 – 9,2 ×
103/µl dengan 4 kali pengulangan. Hasil penelitian hitung jumlah
leukosit menggunakan larutan Turk didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar
8.512 × 103/µl dan konsentrasi air perasan lemon 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%,
20%, didapatkan nilai rata-rata berturut-turut sebesar 8.755 × 103/µl;
8.622 × 103/µl; 6.237 × 103/µl; 4.287 × 103/µl; 2.562 × 103/µl. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi 100% dan 80% cenderung lebih
mendekati rata-rata hasil hitung jumlah leukosit pada larutan Turk. Untuk
peneliti selanjutanya dapat melakukan penelitian yang sama tetapi
menggunakan variasi lama pendiaman modifikasi air lemon selama
beberapa minggu dan bulan.

COMPARISON OF LEUKOCYTE COUNT USING TURK SOLUTION
AND LEMON JUICE (Citrus Limon) MODIFICATION

Leukocytes are cells that have a major role in the body's defense system
or immune system because they can fight bacteria or microbes which
cause infection, tumor cells as well as foreign substances that are harmful
to the human body. Calculating the leukocytes count can be done in two
ways: manually using the counting room (upgraded neubauer) and
automatic using a hematology analyzer. The health center's clinical
laboratory often had to wait the reagent supply coming for a long time or
the available reagent but has exceeded the expired date. So that the
reagent data for the Turk solution runs out or is rarely available. The
purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the difference in
leukocyte count using lemon juice (citrus limon) and turk solution.
Consequently, in the future it can be used as an alternative reagent for the
composition of the turk solution. This research type is survey analysis
with laboratory observation research design. The sample used was
normal control blood with a range of leukocyte values, namely 7.6 - 9.2 ×
103 / µl with 4 repetitions. The results of the study to count the number
of leucocytes using the Turk solution obtained an average value of 8,512
× 103 / µl and the concentration of air with lemon juice 100%, 80%,
60%, 40%, 20%, obtained an average value of 8,755 respectively. × 103 /
µl; 8,622 × 103 / µl; 6,237 × 103 / µl; 4,287 × 103 / µl; 2,562 × 103 / µl.
The results showed that the concentrations of 100% and 80% tended to
be more likely the same as the average result of the leukocyte count in
the Turk solution. For further researchers, they can carry out the same
research but use variations in the length of indwelling modification of
lemon water for several weeks and months.
