Sumur gali merupakan salah satu sarana air bersih yang digunakan masyarakat di Desa Batu Ampar Kecamatan Cempaka yang berjumlah 11 buah, secara konstruksi sebagian besar sumur gali belum memenuhi syarat kontruksi seperti pada bibir sumur, lantai sumur, dan dinding sumur, serta jarak sumur gali dengan sumber pencemar masih kurang dari 11 meter dan belum adanya saluran pembungan air limbah, terdapat beberapa sumur gali yang terletak lebih rendah dari sumber pencemar seperti kandang ternak dan terletak dekat dengan pertanian masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kontruksi sumur gali dan kualitas bakteriologis air sumur gali di Desa Batu Ampar Kecamatan Cempaka.
Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yaitu menggambarkan kontruksi sumur gali dan kualitas bakteriologis air sumur gali di Desa Batu Ampar Kecamatan Cempaka. Hasil inspeksi sanitasi sumur gali terhadap 11 sumur yaitu sumur dengan tingkat risiko amat tinggi berjumlah 4 sumur, sumur dengan tingkat risiko tinggi berjumlah 5 sumur dan sumur dengan tingkat risiko sedang berjumlah 2 sumur.
Hasil pemeriksaan kualitas bakteriologis (total coliform) air sumur gali pada 11 sumur gali didapatkan hasil berkisar antara 3 – 21000 CFU/100 mL yang terdapat 8 sumur gali yang kualitas air nya tidak memenuhi persyaratan atau melampaui kadar maksium (50 CFU/100ml) dan 3 sumur gali yang kualitas air nya memenuhi persyaratan. Hasil pemeriksaan dibandingkan dengan Permenkes no 32 tahun 2017 tentang Standar Baku Mutu Kesehatan Lingkungan dan Persyaratan Kesehatan Air Untuk Keperluan Higiene Sanitasi.
Disarankan agar masyarakat melakukan perbaikan sarana air sumur gali serta melakukan pengolahan air sebelum dipergunakan untuk keperluan rumah tangga atau dikonsumsi.

Dug wells are one means of water clean used people in the Village of batu Ampar, cempaka subdistrict, which amounted to 11 pieces, based on most construction of the dug wells have not eligible construction such as on the lip of the well, the floor of the well, and the walls of the wells, as well as the distance of the wells dig with the source of the pollutants is still less than 11 meters and the absence of channels water waste, there are several dug wells located lower than the pollutant source such as a cage livestock and located close to the farm community. The purpose of this study is to know the construction of dug wells and the quality of bacteriological water wells dug in the Village of Batu Ampar, cempaka subdistrict.
This research type is descriptive which means describes the construction of dug wells and the quality of bacteriological water wells dug in the Village of Batu Ampar, cempaka Subdistrict. The results of the sanitary inspection of wells digging of 11 wells namely wells with a very high risk levels amount to 4 wells, the wells with high risk level amounts to 5 wells and wells with a medium level of risk amounted to 2 wells.
The results of the examination of the bacteriological quality (total coliform) water dug wells on 11 dug wells the results obtained ranged from 3 - 21000 CFU/100 mL of which there were 8 dug wells the water quality does not meet the requirements or exceed the maximum levels (50 CFU/100 ml)d an 3 dug wells the quality of the water meets the requirements. Results examination compared to minister of health regulation No 32 2017 about the Standard of the Health of the Environment and Health Requirements of Water For The Purposes Of Hygiene And Sanitation.
It is recommended that people do improvement of water dug wells as well as perform water treatment before used for the purposes of household or consumed.
