Desa X berada di urutan keenam terkait persentase KK tertinggi yang masih BABS (47%). Kemudian di bulan Oktober 2019 desa tersebut berada di urutan kedua tertinggi dengan persentase yang sama pada tahun 2018. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku buang air besar (BAB) di desa x.
Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Variabel yang diteliti adalah pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku terhadap fasilitas BAB. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua Kepala Keluarga di Desa X dengan sampel penelitian yaitu 43 Kk dari jumlah populasi. Hasil penelitian diolah dengan program statistic dalam bentuk tabel frekuensi.
Hasil penelitian masyarakat di Desa X memilki pengetahuan terhadap BAB dengan kategori cukup yaitu sebanyak 69,8% sedangkan 25,6% masyarakat masih dalam kategori kurang, untuk sikap masyarakat terhadap BAB memilki sikap positif dengan kategori mendukung sebanyak 58,1% dan 41,9% terdapat sikap negatif dengan kategori tidak mendukung daan untuk tindakan masyarakat terhadap fasilitas BAB dengan kategori OD/BABS di tempat terbuka sebanyak 34,88%.
Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah mengadakan program jambanisasi , membentuk kelompok arisan jamban bagi masyarakat yang belum memiliki jamban yang dibina oleh kader posyandu dan kesling serta Memaksimalkan pelaksanaan program STBM.

DEFECATION BEHAVIOR (BAB) IN VILLAGE X IN THE MIDDLE HULU SUNGAI DISTRICT IN 2020

Village X ranks sixth with the highest percentage of families still defecating (47%). Then in October 2019 the village was ranked the second highest with the same percentage in 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine defecation behavior (BAB) in village x.
This type of research is descriptive. The variables studied were knowledge, attitudes and behaviors towards defecation facilities. The population in this study were all family heads in Village X with the study sample of 43 families of the total population. The results of the study were processed with a statistical program in the form of a frequency table.
The results of community research in Village X have the knowledge of defecation in the adequate category that is as much as 69.8% while 25.6% of the community is still in the inadequate category, for public attitudes towards BAB have a positive attitude with the support category as much as 53.5% and 46.5 % there is a negative attitude with the category of not supporting and for community behavior towards defecation facilities with the category OD / BABS in the open as much as 34.88%.
Efforts that can be made are organizing a latrine program, forming a toilet arisan group for people who do not yet have a latrine that is fostered by posyandu and kesling cadres and Maximizing STBM program implementation.
