Latar belakang berdasarkan survei sebelumnya adanya keluhan dari masyarakat di mana kondisi Air PDAM tersebut berbau & keruh sehingga kualitas air distribusi tidak memenuhi persyaratan. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui kualitas air PDAM X ditinjau dari parameter pH, Kekeruhan, dan Sisa Klor.
Metode penelitian jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, yaitu menggambarkan tentang Kualitas Air PDAM X ditinjau dari parameter pH, Kekeruhan, dan Sisa Klor. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Cross sectional (Pengambilan sampel sesaat).
Hasil penelitian pengambilan sampel air sungai, pH yang diperoleh sebesar 6.01- 6.11. Sampel pH pada reservoir diperoleh sebesar 5.2 – 5.7. Hasil kekeruhan pada air baku sebesar 85.2 – 89.9 NTU. Hasil kekeruhan reservoir sebesar 9.6 – 10.6 NTU. Hasil sisa klor pada reservoir sebesar 0.9 – 0.8 Mg/l.
Diharapkan untuk instansi terkait agar melakukan proses pengolahan air yang sesuai dengan perhitungan yang dianjurkan dalam pengolahan air PDAM.

Background based on the previous survey there were complaints from the community where the condition of the PDAM water was smelly & murky so that if the quality of the distribution water did not meet the requirements of the PDAM X it would lose consumers. The purpose of this research is to know the water quality of PDAM X in terms of pH, turbidity, and chlorine residual parameters.
The research method of this type of research is descriptive, which describes the Water Quality of PDAM X in terms of the parameters of pH, Turbidity, and Chlorine Remnant. The research design used was cross sectional.
The results of research on river water sampling, the pH obtained was 6.01- 6.11. Samples of pH in the reservoir obtained from 5.2 - 5.7. The result of turbidity in raw water is 85.2 - 89.9 NTU. The results of reservoir turbidity are 9.6 - 10.6 NTU. The remaining chlorine in the reservoir is 0.9 - 0.8 Mg / l.
It is expected for related institutions to carry out water treatment processes in accordance with the calculations recommended in PDAM water treatment.
