Water  Treatment  Plant  (WTP  T-300) merupakan tempat pengolahan air tambang   layak   minum  yang   dimiliki  oleh   perusahaan   tambang      PT.   Adaro Indonesia.  Pada  air  olahan  yang  dihasilkan  harus  memenuhi beberapa  parameter, salah  satunya  adalah  parameter  mikrobiologi.  Dalam  parameter  mikrobiologi ada angka  Coliform.  Pada  air  olahan  periode  Mei   dan Juni 2016  masih ditemukan angka Coliform sebesar 48 dan 14  koloni.
Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  mengetahui  efektifitas  penggunaan  dosis  chemical
chlorine  terhadap  penurunan  bakteri coliform  pada air olahan Water Treatment Plant  T-300  di PT.  Adaro  Indonesia.  Desain/rancang bangun penelitian ini adalah pretes-postes   dengan   kelompok   kontrol  (pretest-postest   with   control  group design).   Sampel  penelitian  ini  adalah  air  olahan  WTP  T-300  di  PT.  Adaro Indonesia   menggunakan   bahan   chemical   chlorin   dengan   variasi  dosis   2ml/l,
2,2ml/l,  2,4ml/l,  2,6ml/ldan  2,8 ml/l.
Hasil   penelitian   ini   menunjukkan   ada   perbedaan   penurunan   bakteri
coliform  antara sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan pada  kelompok  perlakuan pada
air sampel WTP  T-300 dilihat dari hasil uji friedman menunjukan nilai p=0,000 <
α = 0,05 dengan dosis optimum 2,7 ml/l sesuai dengan uji regresi linier.

Water Treatment Plant (WTP  T-300) is the place for drinkable processing water  from  mine  owned  by  a  mining  company  PT.  Adaro  Indonesia.  In  the processed  water  produced  it  must  meet  several parameters,  one of which is the microbiological parameters,  one of those is the microbiological parameters.  In the microbiological  parameter  there  is  a  Coliform  number.  In  the  processed  water period  May  and  June  2016  have  beenfound  Coliform  number  of  48  and  14 colonies.
This  study  aims  to  determine  the  effectiveness  of  chemical  dosage  of
chlorine to  the decrease of coliform bacteria in processed  water of T-300 Water Treatment  Plant  at  PT.  Adaro  Indonesia.  The  design  of this research is pretest- postest with control group  design.  The sample of this research is processed water of WTP  T-300  at  PT.  Adaro  Indonesia  using chemical chlorine with the  variate dose of 2ml / l, 2,2ml / l, 2,4ml / l, 2,6ml / l and 2,8 ml / l.
The  results  of  this  study  indicate  that  there  is  a  difference  of  coliform bacterial decrease  between  before  and  after processing in the treatment group  in water sample WTP T-300 seen from friedman test showed p value = 0,000 <α =
0.05 with optimum dose 2.7 ml / l according  With linear regression  test.
