Industri tekstil memegang peranan yang cukup penting di Indonesia, termasuk di wilayah Kalimantan Selatan dengan perkembangan industri pembuatan kain sasirangan sebagai kain ciri khas Kalimantan Selatan. Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) merupakan uji coba untuk menentukan jumlah oksigen yang dibutuhkan oleh mikroorganisme dalam menguraikan zat organik pada air dalam keadaan aerobik terhadap air buangan. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui pengaruh aerasi terhadap kadar BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment. Bahan pemeriksaan pada penelitian ini adalah air limbah sasirangan yang diambil dari Kampung Sasirangan Banjarmasin. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Posstest Only Control Group Design. Pada penelitian ini sampel dikelompokkan berdasarkan perlakuan aerasi selama 0, 24, 48, 72 dan 96 jam. Hasil penelitian didapatkan kadar BOD dengan perlakuan aerasi 0, 24, 48, 72, dan 96 jam sebesar 607,24 mg/L, 412,94 mg/L, 193,28 mg/L, 145,74 mg/L, dan 121,45 mg/L. Data dianalisis dengan metode Kruskal - Wallis dan didapatkan nilai 0,000 yang berarti kurang dari 0,05. Ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan. Kesimpulan ada pengaruh bermakna lama aerasi terhadap kadar BOD air limbah di kampung sasirangan. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya melanjutkan penelitian kadar BOD air limbah yang di aerasi dengan metode aerasi yang baru dan memeriksa kadar BOD dengan sampel berbeda.

The Influence Old Aeration On Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD)  Of Wastewater In Sasirangan Village

The textile industry has a significant role in Indonesia, including in the South Kalimantan region with the development of the Sasirangan fabric manufacturing industry as a fabric characteristic of South Kalimantan. Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD). It is a test to determine the amount of oxygen needed by microorganisms in describing organic substances in water in an aerobic state against wastewater. Research objectives know the effect of aeration on BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) levels. The type of research used is Quasi Experiment. The examination material in this study was sasirangan wastewater taken from Banjarmasin Sasirangan Village. The research design used in this study is Posstest Only Control Group Design. On this research samples are grouped by aeration Treatment for 0, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. The Results of the study obtained BOD with aeration treatment of 0, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours for 607.24 mg/L, 412.94 mg/L, 193.28 mg/L, 145.74 mg/L, and 121.45 mg/L. Data analyzed by method Kruskal – Wallis and obtained a value of 0.000 which means less than 0.05. This indicates there is a significant influence. Conclusion there is a meaningful influence of long aeration against the rate of wastewater in Sasirangan village. Advice for researchers further continued the aeration of wastewater level research with new aeration methods and checked the BOD levels with different samples.
