Kes) XV + 55 Pages; 10 Tables; 2 Figures; 13 Attachments The national average the proportion of hand-washing behavior correctly there are 5 lowest provinces, one of which is South Kalimantan (32.3%). According to the preliminary survey at the Sungai Tabuk 2 Public Health Center there were 6 villages and those who often sought treatment at the Public Health Center were people living in Lok Baintan village and there was only one primary school in the village, Lok Baintan Elementary School. The incidence of diarrhea cases in the work area of Sungai Tabuk 2 Public Health Center in 2018 was amounted to 460 people, the number of children under five or the age of less than 5 years was 188 people, the number of ages over 5 years was 272 people. The incidence of the disease is related to the digestive tract and the disease is related to hand hygiene, students do not do the hand-washing with soap. The purpose of this research was to discover the knowledge and attitude of hand washing on students of Lok Baintan Elementary School in Sungai Tabuk Subdistrict, Banjar Regency. This type of research is descriptive, the research population of all students of Lok Baintan Elementary School numbered 46 people, the sample of 46 people with the method Saturation sampling (saturated sampling) and the research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results of this research indicate that the knowledge of students about hand-washing with soap is mostly (91.3%) including the good category, and attitudes about hand- washing with soap most (76.1%) have negative / not supportive attitudes. Efforts that can be made for the school are to providing hand-washing with soap facilities equipped with liquid soap and wipes / tissue, providing rewards for students who are accustomed to doing hand-washing with soap, role play, radio / television plays, short film screenings, and health promotion of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior especially regarding hand-washing with soap. Kes) XV + 55 Halaman; 10 Tabel; 2 Gambar; 13 Lampiran Rerata nasional proporsi perilaku cuci tangan dengan benar terdapat 5 provinsi terendah, salah satunya yakni provinsi Kalimantan Selatan (32,3%). Menurut survey pendahuluan di Puskesmas Sungai Tabuk 2 terdapat 6 desa dan yang sering berobat di Puskesmas yaitu masyarakat yang bermukim di desa Lok Baintan dan hanya terdapat satu SD di desa tersebut yaitu SDN Lok Baintan. Kejadian kasus diare di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sungai Tabuk 2 pada tahun 2018 yaitu berjumlah 460 orang, jumlah balita atau umur yang kurang dari 5 tahun berjumlah 188 orang, jumlah umur yang lebih dari 5 tahun berjumlah 272 orang. Kejadian penyakit tersebut berhubungan dengan saluran pencernaan dan penyakit tersebut berhubungan dengan kebersihan tangan, siswa tidak melakukan CTPS dengan benar. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan sikap mencuci tangan pada siswa SDN Lok Baintan Kecamatan Sungai Tabuk Kabupaten Banjar. Jenis penelitian bersifat deskriptif, populasi penelitian seluruh siswa/siswi SDN Lok Baintan berjumlah 46 orang, sampel berjumlah 46 orang dengan metode Saturation sampling (sampling jenuh) dan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa tentang CTPS sebagian besar (91,3%) termasuk kategori baik, dan sikap tentang CTPS sebagian besar (76,1%) memiliki sikap negatif/ tidak mendukung. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan bagi pihak sekolah yaitu menyediakan fasilitas cuci tangan yang dilengkapi dengan sabun cair dan lap/tisu, memberikan rewards untuk siswa/siswi yang membiasakan diri melakukan CTPS, role play, sandiwara radio/televisi, pemutaran film pendek, dan promosi kesehatan tentang Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat khususnya mengenai CTPS.
