ABSTRAK Hubungan Lama Bekerja Dengan Jumlah Retikulosit Pada Petugas Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bahan Bakar Umum (SPBU) Peneliti : Amilisa Pembimbing : Jujuk Anton Cahyono, Wahdah Norsiah Lama kerja adalah suatu kurun waktu atau lamanya tenaga kerja bekerja disuatu tempat. Bekerja dengan waktu yang berkepanjangan akan menimbulkan kecenderungan untuk terjadinya kelelahan, kecelakaan, dan gangguan kesehatan.Retikulosit adalah sel eritrosit yang belum matang (muda) yang diproduksi di sumsum tulang, dimana mereka matang menjadi eritrosit dalam 1 hingga 2 hari. Peningkatan atau penurunan jumlah retikulosit dapat menjadi indikator aktivitas atau kegagalan eritropoiesis, terutama relatif terhadap anemia dan disfungsi sumsum tulang. Tujuan penelitin ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama bekerja dengan jumlah retikulosit pada petugas SPBU di Banjarbaru. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat survey analitik dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional, sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 petugas SPBU dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data jumlah retikulosit didapat dari pemeriksaan jumlah retikulosit secara mikroskopis metode kering, spesimen yang digunakan yaitu darah EDTA. Hasil menujukkan Petugas SPBU yang lama bekerja < 5 setahun sebanyak 17 orang (56,67%) dan petugas SPBU yang lama bekerja > 5 tahun sebanyak 13 orang (43,33%) , 15 responden (50%) dengan jumlah retikulosit normal, 9 responden (30%) dengan jumlah retikulosit di bawah normal dan 6 responden (20%) dengan jumlah retikulosit di atas normal. Hasil uji koefisien rank sperman menunjukan tidak erdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara lama bekerja dengan dengan jumlah retikulosit pada petugas SPBU dengan nilai p-value 0,146 (>0,05). Bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan juga selain memeriksa jumlah retikulosit dapat menambahkan pemeriksaan Hemoglobin. Working for long hours will lead to a tendency to fatigue, accidents and health problems. Reticulocytes are immature (young) erythrocyte cells produced in the bone marrow, where they mature into erythrocytes in 1 to 2 days. An increase or decrease in reticulocyte count may be an indicator of erythropoiesis activity or failure, especially relative to anemia and bone marrow dysfunction. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between length of work and the number of reticulocytes in gas station officers in Banjarbaru. This type of research is an analytical survey research with a cross sectional research design, the research sample was 30 gas station officers using a purposive sampling technique. Data on the number of reticulocytes was obtained from examining the number of reticulocytes microscopically using the dry method, the specimen used was EDTA blood. The results showed that there were 17 petrol station officers who had worked for < 5 years (56.67%) and 13 petrol station officers who had worked > 5 years (43.33%), 15 respondents (50%) with normal reticulocyte counts, 9 respondents (30%) with reticulocyte counts below normal and 6 respondents (20%) with reticulocyte counts above normal. The results of the sperm rank coefficient test showed that there was no significant relationship between length of work and the number of reticulocytes in gas station attendants with a value p-value 0.146 (>0.05). It is hoped that future researchers will also be able to add Hemoglobin examination besides checking the reticulocyte count. Keywords: Length of Work, Reticulocytes, Gas Station
