KEMENTERIAN KESEHATAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN BANJARMASIN PROGRAM STUDI KEPERAWATAN PROGRAM DIPLOMA TIGA TAHUN 2021 ABSTRAK Karya Tulis Ilmiah SITTI MUNAIRAH PENERAPAN GUIDED IMAGERY PADA PASIEN GOUT ARTHRITIS DENGAN MASALAH NYERI AKUT DI (PPRSLU) BUDI SEJAHTERA PROVINSI KALIMANTAN SELATAN Parellangi dan Agus Rachmadi xvi + 84 halaman ; 20 tabel ; 2 gambar + 10 lampiran Gout artritis atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama penyakit asam urat merupakan salah satu penyakit inflamasi pada sendi, yang ditandai dengan penumpukan kristal monosodium urat di dalam maupun di sekitar persendian sehingga menimbulkan rasa nyeri. Berdasarkan data di PPRSLU Budi Sejahtera Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, pada tahun 2023 yang mengalami gout arthritis sebanyak 49,56% dari jumlah lansia 117 orang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Guided Imagery pada asuhan keperawatan gerontik Gout arthritis dengan masalah nyeri akut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus yang meliputi wawancara, Observasi, dan pemeriksaan fisik. metode penerapan Guided Imagery ini termuat dalam intervensi dan dilakukan implementasi lalu didapatkan evaluasi dan dilakukan dokumentasi. Penerapan Guided Imagery ini dilakukan selama 10-20 menit. Hasil penelitian sebelum diberikan terapi Guided Imagery, skala nyeri pada klien 1 dan 2 yaitu 5 (nyeri sedang) dan 6 (nyeri sedang). Setelah diberikan terapi selama 4 hari dengan waktu 10 menit skala kedua klien menurun menjadi 2 (nyeri ringan). Kesimpulan, hasil dari karya tulis ilmiah ini bahwa guided imagery dapat menurunkan rasa nyeri bagi penderita gout arthritis. Based on data at PPRSLU Budi Sejahtera, South Kalimantan Province, in 2023, 49.56% of the total 117 elderly people experienced gout arthritis. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of Guided Imagery on gerontic nursing care for Gout arthritis with acute pain problems. This study uses a case study method which includes interviews, observations, and physical examinations. The method of applying Guided Imagery is contained in the intervention and implementation is carried out then an evaluation is obtained and documentation is carried out. The application of Guided Imagery is carried out for 10-20 minutes. The pain scale in clients 1 and 2 were 5 (moderate pain) and 6 (moderate pain) before being given Guided Imagery therapy. After being given therapy for 4 days with 10 minutes the scale of both clients truning into 2 (mild pain). Conclusion of the study is, guided imagery can reduce pain for people with gout arthritis.
