KEMENTERIAN KESEHATAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN BANJARMASIN PROGRAM STUDI KEPERAWATAN PROGRAM DIPLOMA TIGA TAHUN 2024 ABSTRAK Karya Tulis Ilmiah SILVIYA DILLA PENERAPAN BATUK EFEKTIF PASCA NEBULIZER TERHADAP PENGELUARAN SPUTUM PADA PASIEN PENYAKIT PARU OBSTRUKTIF KRONIK (PPOK) DENGAN BERSIHAN JALAN NAPAS TIDAK EFEKTIF DI RSD IDAMAN KOTA BANJARBARU Syamsul Firdaus dan Suroto xvii + 89 halaman ; 22 tabel ; 9 gambar + 13 lampiran PPOK adalah peradangan pada paru-paru yang berlangsung dalam jangka panjang, merupakan penyebab kematian tertinggi ketiga diseluruh dunia. Gejala yang ditimbulkan yaitu sesak napas, batuk, dan peningkatan produksi sputum. Jika terjadi penumpukan sputum di saluran pernapasan, dapat menyebabkan ketidakefektifan jalan napas. Salah satu penatalaksanaan non farmakologis yang dapat dilakukan yaitu teknik batuk efektif. Tujuan studi kasus ini membantu mengeluarkan sputum pada pasien PPOK. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus, subjek 2 orang, dengan fokus Asuhan Keperawatan Medikal Bedah, metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, obsevasi, pemeriksaan fisik, studi literature dan dokumentasi. Instrumen mengg unakan format pengkajian keperawatan medikal bedah, gelas ukur, alat perekam dan kamera. Analisa data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Penerapan dilakukan 3x sehari sehari selama 3 hari 29 maret 2024-31 maret 2024 bertempat di ruang Parkit RSD Idaman Kota Banjarbaru. Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan setelah dilakukan teknik batuk efektif didapat hasil pengeluaran sputum pada pasien 1 hari pertama 12 ml, hari kedua 18 ml, dan hari ketiga 40 ml, rata-rata pengeluaran sputum selama 3 hari yaitu 23,3 ml. Sedangkan pada pasien 2 pengeluaran sputum hari pertama 10 ml, hari kedua 25 ml, dan hari ketiga 5 ml, rata-rata pengeluaran sputum selama 3 hari yaitu 14,3 ml. Dimana sebelumnya kedua pasien mengeluh sulit mengeluarkan sputum. Teknik batuk efektif mampu membantu terapi farmakologi dalam meningkatkan pengeluaran jumlah sputum pada pasien PPOK. Studi kasus ini sebagai bahan rujukan untuk menunjang pengobatan farmakologi dalam meningkatkan pengeluaran sputum pada pasien PPOK. Symptoms include shortness of breath, coughing, and increased sputum production. If there is a buildup of sputum in the respiratory tract, it can cause airway ineffectiveness One of the non-pharmacological treatments that can be done is effective coughing techniques The purpose of this case study is to help remove sputum in COPD patients. This study uses a case study design, 2 subjects, with a focus on MedicalSurgical Nursing Care, data collection methods with interviews, observations, physical examinations, literature studies and documentation. The instrument uses a medical-surgical nursing assessment format, measuring cups, recording devices and cameras. Data analysis using descriptive analysis Implementation was carried out 3 times a day for 3 days 29 March 2024-31 March 2024 located in the Parkıt room of Idaman Hospital, Banjarbaru City. The results of the case study showed that after the effective cough technique was performed, the results of sputum discharge in patient 1 on the first day were 12 ml, the second day were 18 ml, and the third day were 40 ml, the average sputum discharge for 3 days was 23.3 ml While in patient 2, the first day sputum discharge was 10 ml, the second day was 25 ml, and the third day was 5 ml, the average sputum discharge for 3 days was 14.3 ml Where previously both patients complained that it was difficult to remove sputum. Effective cough techniques can assist pharmacological therapy in increasing sputum discharge in COPD patients Case study ını as a reference material to support pharmacological treatment in increasing sputum discharge in COPD patients.
