ABSTRAK Hubungan pemakaian alat pelindung diri (APD) dengan insidensi HBsAg pada tenaga kesehatan di RSUD Datu Sanggul Rantau Peneliti : Aidah Pembimbing : Ratih Dewi Dwiyanti, Wahdah Norsiah Tenaga kesehatan dalam melakukan pelayanan harus menggunakan alat pelindung diri (APD) untuk menghindari kecelakaan kerja dan infeksi nosocomial, salah satunya hepatitis B. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan kepatuhan pemakaian alat pelindung diri (APD) dengan Insidensi HBsAg pada Tenaga Kesehatan di RSUD Datu Sanggul Rantau. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah tenaga kesehatan yang beresiko terpapar berjumlah 263 orang terdiri dari182 perawat,50 bidan,27 ATLM,dan terafis gigi dan mulut 4 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling, sebanyak 101 orang. Hasil dianalisa dengan aplikasi SPSS ver.25. Sebagian besar tenaga kesehatan patuh (90,1%) dalam pemakaian APD pada saat pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit dan insidensi paparan hepatitis B (2 %). Kesimpulan berdasarkan hasil Uji fisher exact didapatkan adanya hubungan bermakna antara kepatuhan pemakaian alat pelindung diri (APD) dengan Insidensi HBsAg pada Tenaga Kesehatan di RSUD Datu Sanggul Rantau. Disarankan bagi peneliti yang lain agar meneliti apakah kepatuhan menggunakan alat pelindung diri memililki hubungan dengan kejadian penyakit menular lainnya. Direkomendasikan agar dilakukan vaksinasi dan penekanan pada pengawasan dan surveilens dari PPI rumah sakit, penyuluhan tentang pentingnya pemakaian APD saat bekerja secara disiplin. Most health workers are compliant (90.1%) in the use of PPE during health services in hospitals and the incidence of hepatitis B exposure (2%). The conclusion based on the results of the fisher's exact test found a relationship between compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the incidence of HBsAg in Health Workers at Datu Sanggul Rantau Regional Hospital. It is recommended for other researchers to examine whether adherence to using personal protective equipment has a relationship with the incidence of other infectious diseases. This study recommends that vaccinations be carried out and emphasis on supervision and surveillance from hospital PPI, counseling on the importance of wearing PPE when working in a disciplined manner.
