ABSTRAK Perbandingan Hasil Pemeriksaan Mikroskopis Bakteri Tahan Asam dengan Hasil Pemeriksaan Tes Cepat Molekuler pada Pasien Terduga TB di RSUD Datu Sanggul Rantau Penulis : Raisa Rahma Pembimbing : Ratih Dewi Dwiyanti, Rifqoh Tuberkulosis adalah suatu penyakit kronik menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Diagnosis TB pada orang dewasa harus ditegakkan terlebih dahulu dengan pemeriksaan bakteriologis. Pemeriksaan bakteriologis yang dimaksud adalah pemeriksaan mikroskopis dan Tes Cepat Molekuler. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbandingan hasil pemeriksaan mikroskopis Bakteri Tahan Asam dengan hasil pemeriksaan Tes Cepat Molekuler pada pasien terduga TB di RSUD Datu Sanggul Rantau. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, sebanyak 137 orang. Spesimen dahak dilakukan pemeriksaan mikroskopis bakteri Tahan Asam dan pemeriksaan Tes Cepat Molekuler. Dari 137 spesimen, didapatkan pada pemeriksaan mikroskopis BTA sebanyak 26 hasil positif (4 hasil scanty, 4 hasil 1+, 3 hasil 2+, dan 5 hasil 3+) dan 111 hasil negatif, sedangkan dengan TCM didapatkan hasil positif sebanyak 30 (5 hasil MTB deteceted very low, 3 hasil MTB detected low, 9 hasil MTB detected medium, 13 hasil MTB detected high) dan hasil negatif sebanyak 107. Uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan hasil Sig 0,606 (> 0,05). Kesimpulan tidak ada perbedaan antara hasil pemeriksaan mikroskopis Bakteri Tahan Asam dengan hasil pemeriksaan Tes Cepat Molekuler pada pasien terduga TB di RSUD Datu Sanggul Rantau. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar hasil negatif dan positif pada pemeriksaan BTA secara mikroskopis sebaiknya dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan TCM untuk mendapatkan diagnosis yang lebih tepat. This study aims to find out the comparison of the results of microscopic of Acid-Fast Bacteria examination with the results of Molecular Rapid Test examination in suspected TB patients at Datu Sanggul Rantau Hospital. This study used an analytic survey design with a cross sectional approach. Sampling using the total sampling, as many 137 people. From 137, it is obtained on microscopic examination of BTA as many as 26 positive results (4 results which are scanty, 4 results which are 1+, 3 results which are 2+, and 5 results which are 3+) and 111 negative results, whereas with TCM 30 positive results were obtained (5 results of MTB detected very low, 3 results of MTB detected low results, 9 results of MTB detected medium, 13 results of MTB detected high) and 107 negative results. The Mann-Whitney test showed Sig 0.606 (> 0.05), meaning that there was no difference between the results of microscopic of AcidFast Bacteria examinations and the results of Molecular Rapid Test examinations in patients suspected of having TB at Datu Sanggul Rantau Hospital. This study suggests that negative and positive results on microscopic smear examination should be followed up with a TCM examination to obtain a more precise diagnosis.
