BARABAI KABUPATEN HULU SUNGAI TENGAH TAHUN 2022

PLTD barabai adalah pembangkit listrik yang mengunakan mesin disel sebagai 
mesin tenaga utama. Kebisingan yang dihasilkan dari mesin tersebut cukup tinggi dan 
berkelanjutan sehingga dapat mempengaruhi lingkungan sekitarnya dan menyebar ke
berbagai arah. Tujuan penelitian adalah diketahuinya tingkat kebisingan disekitar PLTD
Barabai Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah.
Jenis Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, desain penelitian bersifat metode deskriptif 
dengan rancangan observasional. Populasi yaitu tingkat kebisingan disekitar PLTD 
Barabai kemudian hasil ukur dibandingkan dengan persyaratan KepMenLH 
No.48/MEN.LH/11/1996 tentang baku tingkat kebisingan.
Hasil penelitian kebisingan pada permukiman sekitar PLTD pada titik 25 meter 
dengan rata-rata 67, 26 dBA, selanjutnya pada titik 21 meter hasil ukur kebisingan 
diperoleh rata-rata 67, 76 dBA, pada titik 26 meter rata- rata 67, 63 dBA ketiga hasil 
titik pengambilan sampel yang berbeda tersebut dibandingkan dengan KepMenLH No.
48/MEN.LH/11/1996 tentang baku tingkat kebisingan telah melebihi standar baku 
mutu. Pada jarak 40 meter dari titik pengukuran 25 meter selanjutnya pada jarak 35 
meter dari titik pengukuran 21 meter, dan pada jarak 45 meter dari jarak 26 meter 
dihasilkan kebisingan 63 dBA. Selanjutnya pada jarak 63 meter dari titik pengukuran 
25 meter. ada jarak 57 meter dari titik pengukuran 21 meter, dan pada jarak 111 meter 
dari jarak 68 meter dihasilkan kebisingan 59 dBA. Pada jarak 102 meter dari titik 
pengukuran 25 meter selanjutnya pada jarak 91 meter dari titik pengukuran 21 meter, 
dan pada jarak 111 meter dari jarak 26 meter dihasilkan kebisingan 55 dBA. Sehingga 
pada jarak titik tersebut nilai kebisingan memenuhi standar baku mutu.
Bagi PLTD Barabai dapat melakukan penambahan barrier disekitar permukiman 
PLTD Barabai dan masyarakat yang tinggal disekitar PLTD dilakukan pemindahan 
rumah berdasarkan jarak aman yang telah diperhitungan dengan nilai L2 sebesar 55 
dBA.

PLTD Barabai is a power plant that uses a diesel engine as the main power engine. 
The noise generated from the machine is quite high and continuous so that it can affect 
the surrounding environment and spread in various directions. The purpose of this 
research is to know the noise level around PLTD Barabai, Hulu Sungai Tengah 
Regency.
This type of research is descriptive, the research design is descriptive method with 
an observational design. The population is the noise level around the PLTD Barabai 
then the measurement results are compared with the requirements of the Minister of 
Environment Decree No.48/MEN.LH/11/1996 regarding the standard noise level.
The results of noise research in settlements around the PLTD at the point of 25 meters 
with an average of 67.26 dBA, then at the point of 21 meters the noise measurement 
results obtained an average of 67.76 dBA, at the point of 26 meters an average of 67.63 
dBA. the different sampling points were compared with KepMenLH No. 
48/MEN.LH/11/1996 regarding the noise level standard has exceeded the quality 
standard. At a distance of 40 meters from the measurement point, the next 25 meters at 
a distance of 35 meters from the measurement point of 21 meters, and at a distance of 
45 meters from a distance of 26 meters, the noise is 63 dBA. Furthermore, at a distance 
of 63 meters from the measurement point of 25 meters. there is a distance of 57 meters 
from the measurement point of 21 meters, and at a distance of 111 meters from a 
distance of 68 meters the noise is 59 dBA. At a distance of 102 meters from the 
measurement point, the next 25 meters at a distance of 91 meters from the measurement 
point of 21 meters, and at a distance of 111 meters from a distance of 26 meters, 55 dBA 
noise is generated. So that at that point distance the noise value meets the quality 
standards.
For PLTD Barabai, it is possible to add barriers around the settlements of PLTD 
Barabai and people who live around PLTD can relocate their houses based on a 
calculated safe distance with an L2 value of 55 dBA.
