MS dan Munawar Raharja, S.Si, M.PH) xvi + 38 Halaman : 6 tabel :1 gambar : 24 lampiran Sarana air untuk keperluan higiene sanitasi yang paling banyak dipergunakan masyarakat pedesaan khususnya di Desa X Kecamatan Labuan Amas Selatan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah adalah sumur bor. Berdasarkan hasil survei diketahui kualitas air sumur bor yang digunakan masyarakat disana airnya berasa asam, air jernih sesaat ketika ditampung tetapi akan berubah keruh setelah air diisi kembali ke bak penampungan dan ada endapan kuning. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui kualitas kekeruhan, pH, besi (Fe) dan kondisi sumur bor di Desa X Kecamatan Labuan Amas Selatan. Metode penelitian jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, yaitu menggambarkan tentang Kualitas Air Sumur Bor Ditinjau Dari Parameter Kekeruhan, pH, Besi (Fe) dan Kondisi Sumur Bor. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasional, yaitu suatu prosuder yang berencana, antara lain dengan melihat, mendengar, dan mencatat jumlah dan taraf aktivitas tertentu atau situasi tertentu yang ada hubungannya dengan masalah yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian pengambilan sampel air sumur bor, kekeruhan yang diperoleh berkisar 43,0 – 51,5 NTU. Hasil pH pada air sumur bor yang diperoleh berkisar 6,2 – 6,6. Hasil besi (Fe) pada air sumur bor berkisar 3,24 – 4,22. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh masyarakat yang menggunakan air sumur bor untuk keperluan sehari – hari perlu dilakukan penyimpanan dan penyaringan air untuk menurunkan kadar besi dan kekeruhan sampai batas yang dianjurkan dan penambahan kapur untuk menetralkan pH. Based on the results of the survey on the quality of the borehole water used by the people there, the water is acidic, the water is stored at any time but will change after the water is filled back into the reservoir and there is yellow sediment. The purpose of the study was to determine the quality of turbidity, pH, iron (Fe) and the condition of boreholes in X Village, South Labuan Amas District. The research method of this type of research is descriptive, which describes the Quality of Drilling Well Water in terms of Turbidity Parameters, pH, Iron (Fe) and Drill Well Conditions. The research design used is observational, which is a procedure that plans, among others, by seeing, hearing, and recording the number and level of certain activities or certain situations that have to do with the problem being studied. The results of the study of taking borehole water samples, the turbidity obtained ranged from 43.0 to 51.5 NTU. The pH results in bore well water ranged from 6.2 to 6.6. The yield of iron (Fe) in drilled well water ranged from 3.24 to 4.22. Efforts that can be made by people who use borehole water for daily needs need to be carried out by storing and filtering water to reduce iron levels and turbidity to the recommended limits and adding lime to neutralize pH.
