Air limbah laundry merupakan air sisa / air buangan dari kegiatan pencucian. Dua bahan terpenting dari pembentuk deterjen yakni surfaktan dan builders kedua bahan ini di indikasi mempunyai pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian adalah kombinasi perlakuan penggunaan pasir silika dan melati air dalam menurunkan kadar TSS pada air limbah laundry. 
Jenis penelitian yaitu eksperimen dengan pre test – post tes control grub. Populasi penelitian yaitu keseluruhan air limbah cair laundry. Sampel penelitian yaitu air limbah laundry yang diambil untuk uji coba.  
Analisis perbedaan penurunan TSS sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dengan uji One Way Anova Nilai Pvalue (0,001) < α (0,05) H0 ditolak artinya ada perbedaan kadar TSS yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya perlakuan, pada Uji Wilxocon Signed Ranks Test Asymp. Sig. (0,000) <α (0,05) artinya ada perbedaan kadar TSS setelah diberikannya perlakuan, selanjutnya di lakukan pengujian Uji Nonparametric Kolerasi nilai Pvalue (0,686) > α (0,05) artinya ada kolerasi/pengaruh yang signifikan perbedaan ketebalan kombinasi variasi ketebalan pasir silika dan fitoremidiasi 3 tanaman melati air. 
Pasir silika dan melati air dapat digunakan sebagai media filter alternatif yang mudah untuk penurunan kadar TSS sebelum dibuangnya ke perairan. Perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan mengetahui hasil penurunan menggunakan media saringan dan selanjutnya kombinasi saringan dengan sistem fitoremidiasi sehingga dapat mengetahui yang paling efektif.

Laundry waste water is residual water / waste water from washing activities. The two most important ingredients in detergents, namely surfactants and builders, are indicated to have direct and indirect effects on human health and the environment. The aim of this research is to combine the use of silica sand and water jasmine in reducing TSS levels in laundry wastewater.
This type of research is an experiment with a pre test - post test control group. The research population is the entire laundry wastewater. The research sample is laundry wastewater which is taken for testing.
Analysis of the difference in TSS reduction before and after treatment with the One Way Anova test. Pvalue (0.001) < (0.05) H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a significant difference in TSS levels between before and after treatment, in the Wilxocon Signed Ranks Asymp Test. Sig. (0.000) <α (0.05) it means that there is a difference in TSS levels after the treatment is given, then the Nonparametric test is tested. Correlation P-value (0.686) > (0.05) means that there is correlation/significant effect of the difference in thickness of the combination of variations thickness of silica sand and phytoremediation of 3 water jasmine plants.
	Silica sand and water jasmine can be used as alternative filter media that are easy to reduce TSS levels before being discharged into the waters. It is necessary to do research by knowing the results of the reduction using filter media and then the combination of the filter with the phytoremediation system so that it can find out which is the most effective.
