(Gunung Setiadi. S.KM, M.Sc dan Arifin, S.KM, M.Kes) xiv + 52 halaman; tabel 8 ; 2 gambar ; 8 lampiran Penyakit Akibat Kerja adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh pekerjaan dan lingkungan kerja. Pekerja yang selalu bergelut dengan sampah adalah para pekerja pada pabrik pengolahan daur ulang sampah plastik menjadi bijih plastik. Karena bahan utama pabrik ini adalah sampah plastik maka usaha ini memiliki resiko dalam menyebabkan berbagai penyakit seperti gangguan kulit, keracunan, kecacingan diare dan lainnya. Pekerja yang kurang disiplin akan kebersihan, dan tidak menggunakan alat pelindung diri semakin berisiko tertular berbagai jenis penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui adanya hubungan jenis pekerjaan dengan kejadian penyakit akibat kerja pada pabrik pengolahan bijih plastik. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pekerja pada pabrik pengolahan bijih plastik. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan Systematic random sampling. Dianalisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan statistik yaitu menggunakan program SPSS dengan Uji X2 (Chi-Square). Hasil analisis data jenis pekerjaan dengan kejadian penyakit akibat kerja pada Uji Pearson Chi-Square didapatkan hasil yaitu 0,731 > α 0,05. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah tidak ada hubungan antara jenis pekerjaan dengan kejadian penyakit akibat kerja pada pabrik pengolahan bijih plastik. Adapun saran bagi pengusaha dan para pekerja yaitu selalu mengutamakan keselamatan saat bekerja dan menggunakan alat pelindung diri, memasang poster keselamatan kerja pada lokasi yang mudah terlihat oleh pekerja. Workers who are always struggling with rubbish are workers at the processing plant recycling plastic waste into plastic ore. Because the main ingredient of this factory is plastic waste, this business has the risk of causing various diseases such as skin disorders, poisoning, diarrhea and other worms. Workers who lack discipline in hygiene, and do not use personal protective equipment, are at increased risk of contracting various types of diseases. This study aims to determine the relationship between the types of work with the incidence of occupational diseases in the plastic ore processing plant. The population in this study were all workers at the plastic ore processing plant. This research sample uses Systematic random sampling. Analyzed using statistical calculations using the SPSS program with the X2 Test (Chi-Square). The results of the analysis of the type of work data with the incidence of occupational diseases in the Pearson Chi-Square Test showed that the results were 0.731> α 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is no relationship between the type of work and the incidence of occupational diseases in the plastic ore processing plant. The advice for employers and workers is to always prioritize safety when working and use personal protective equipment, put up posters of work safety in locations that are easily visible to workers.
