DALAM MENGENDALIKAN LARVA Aedes albopictus

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit yang ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk dari genus Aedes, terutama Aedes aegypti atau Aedes albopictus. Pengendalian dengan cara kimiawi dilakukan dengan menggunakan abate untuk membunuh larva. Bahan insektisida dapat meakibatkan resistensi pada organisme target, untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut dengan penggunaan insektisida alami, yaitu bawang putih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas larutan bawang putih (Allium sativum) dalam mengendalikan larva Aedes albopictus.
Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen murni. Pada penelitian ini peneliti dapat mengontrol jalannya eksperimen. Desain yang gunakan rancangan e-sederhana (post-test only control group design). Sampel yang digunakan adalah 25 larva Aedes albopictus dengan berbagai variasi konsentrasi selama 24 jam.
Hasil analisis variasi konsentrasi menunjukkan sig<α (0,006<0,05) artinya ada pengaruh variasi konsentrasi larutan bawang putih (Allium sativum) dalam mengendalikan larva Aedes albopictus. Nilai LC50 pada waktu kontak selama 24 jam adalah 0,34%. Nilai TU adalah 294,1. Efektivitas larutan bawang putih (Allium sativum) berada pada konsentrasi 0,6% yang dapat mengendalikan 84% serangga/hewan sasaran. Pada waktu kontak selama 24 jam dengan konsentrasi 0,6% ± 1 sendok air murni larutan bawang putih (Allium sativum) dalam 100 ml air telah dikatakan efektif. Penggunaan larvasida larutan bawang putih (Allium sativum) sebagai alternatif baru dalam pencegahan dan pengendalian vektor larva Aedes albopictus.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a disease transmitted through mosquito bites from the genus Aedes, especially Aedes aegypti or Aedes albopictus. Chemical control is carried out using abates to kill larvae. Insecticide ingredients can cause resistance to target organisms, to solve this problem by using natural insecticides, namely garlic. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of  garlic solution (Allium sativum) in controlling the Aedes albopictus larvae. 
The of research used is true experiment. In this study researchers can control the course of  the experiment. Designs that use a simple e-design (post-test only control group design). The sample used was 25 Aedes albopictus larvae with various variations in concentration for 24 hour.
The results of the analysis of concentration variations showed sig<α (0.006<0.05), means that there was an influence of variations in the concentration of garlic solution (Allium sativum) in controlling Aedes albopictus larvae. The LC50 value for 24 hours is 0,34% , the TU is 294,1 value . The effectiveness of garlic solution (Allium sativum) is at a concentration of 0.6% which it can controlling 84% of  target insects/animals. At the contact time for 24 hours with a consentration of 0,6% or ± 1 teaspoon of garlic solution (Allium sativum)  juice in 100 ml of water has been said to be effective. The use of garlic solution (Allium sativum) larvacides as a new alternative in the prevention and control of vector Aedes albopictus.
