KEMENTRIAN KESEHATAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN BANJARMASIN PROGRAM STUDI SANITASI DIPLOMA III KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN TAHUN 2020 ABSTRAK Karya Tulis Ilmiah ENNY MARLINA ANISA PENGGUNAAN APD PADA PEKERJA PEMBUATAN BATU BATA DI DESA X KECAMATAN LABUAN AMAS UTARA KABUPATEN HULU SUNGAI TENGAH TAHUN 2020 (Gunung Setiadi S.KM, M.Sc dan Arifin, S.KM, M.Kes) xiv+66 halaman; 10 tabel : 9 gambar; 6 lampiran Penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) merupakan salah satu upaya untuk melindungi sebagian atau seluruh tubuhnya dari adanya potensi bahaya atau kecelakaan kerja. Pembuatan Batu Bata di Desa X Kecamatan Labuan Amas Utara Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah merupakan industri dengan berbagai potensi bahaya yang mengharuskan pekerjaan menggunakan APD. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan APD pada pekerja pembuatan batu bata. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptifdengan desain penelitian observasional. Populasi dan sampel penelitian di industry pembuatan Batu Bata berjumlah 60 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan rentang umur pekerja bengkel antara 20-63 tahun. Pendidikan terakhir pekerja dari SD, SMP, dan SMA. Masa kerja ≤5 tahun 25 orang (41,7%).yang bekerja >5 tahun 35 orang (58,3%), lama kerja 8 jam/hari. Jenis Alat pelindung wajah ada 5 (8,3%) tidak ada 55(92%), Alat pelindung tangan ada 5 orang(8,3%) tidak ada 55(92%), Alat pelindung kaki ada 20 orang (33,3%) tidak ada 40 (33,3%), Alat pelindung kepala ada 20 orang(33,3%) tidak ada tidak ada 40(33,3%). Kesesuaian APD dengan jenis APD yang dikatakan sesuai adalah penggunaan pelindung mata, pelindung wajah, pelindung tangan dan pelindung kaki dan yang tidak sesuai ada 50 (83,4%).
