KEMENKES REPUBLIK INDONESIA POLITEKNIK KESEHATAN BANJARMASIN PROGRAM STUDI SANITASI PROGRAM DIPLOMA TIGA KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN TAHUN 2020 ABSTRAK Karya Tulis Ilmiah MAULIDIAH HARDIANA,P07133117020 PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI (APD) PEKERJA DI CV.X BANJARBARU TAHUN 2020 (Arifin, S.KM, M.Kes dan Gunung Setiadi, S.KM, M.Sc ) xiv +54 halaman; 5 tabel; 7 gambar + 4 lampiran Kecelakaan kerja masih menjadi permasalahan yang serius, karena masih banyak industri yang belum menerapkan budaya kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3), selain itu kecelakaan dapat timbul dikarenakan akibat lingkungan kerja dan pekerja. Di CV.X Banjarbaru sebagian pekerja tidak menggunakan APD saat bekerja yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti perilaku pekerja dan tidak disediakan APD untuk pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan alat pelindung diri pekerja di CV.X Banjarbaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Sampel melibatkan 50 orang pekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Potensi bahaya yang terdapat di CV.X Banjarbaru antara lain : Lantai yang licin pada tempat pencucian sampah plastik, penerangan didalam pabrik yang kurang atau gelap, kebisingan dari semua mesin yang digunakan bersamaan, dan tekanan panas dari mesin press, Terdapat penyelenggaraan kesehatan dengan memberikan jaminan kesehatan BPJS kesehatan bagi seluruh pekerja, penyediaan kotak P3K dan APAR tetapi tidak terdapat klinik atau ruang kesehatan dan petugas kesehatan, Pada CV.X hanya sebagian pekerja yang bekerja menggunakan APD yaitu sarung tangan, tidak disediakan APD untuk pekerja dantidak pernah dilakukan penyuluhan atau sosialisasi dan tidak ada sanksi bagi pekerja yang tidak menggunakan APD. Sebaiknya mengkondisikan lingkungan atau tempat kerja yang nyaman, Melakukan pemeriksaan kesehataan pekerja secara rutin, Menyediakan klinik atau ruang kesehatan beserta tenaga medisnya, Meletakkan APAR ditempat yang mudah dijangkau, Menyediakan APD, Memberikan penyuluhan/sosialisasi dan memeberi sanksi. Kes and Gunung Setiadi, S.KM, M.Sc) XIV + 54 pages; 5 tables; 7 pictures + 4 Attachments A work accident still become a serious matter caused by many industry who still didn’t apllying an occupational health and safety ( in bahasa called as K3 ). Furthermore, the accidents can be possible because of the workplace and the worker. Just like CV.X Banjarbaru, some workers are not wearing personal protective equipment ( in bahasa called as APD ) when they are on working. It caused by any factors such as the worker’s habit or the personal protective equipment is not available for them. Based on it, a research being done to find out how the workers in CV.X Banjarbaru using their personal protective equipment. It involved by 50 workers. A kind of this research is descriptive. The research result showing that there are some potential harms in CV.X Banjarbaru Among them are slippery floor on the washing place of plastic waste, a lack of lighting in the factory, the machines used at the same time who caused a very noisy sound, and the heat pressure of press machine. There is a health excutive who giving health assurance such as BPJS Kesehatan for every worker and there is first aid kit too, but a clinic or a medical room are not available there. Just some workers using personal protective equipment like gloves there. It’s not available for the worker that never have any instructions or health education and they don’t have a penalty for it. They have to adjust a pleasant workplace, the workers need medical checkup routinely, provide a clinic or medical room with the medical personnel, put an extinguisher on reachable place, provide the personal protective equipment, and give instructions with penalty.
